I listened to the said interview. Datti must be a very angry human being. I dislike some of his ways. The moderator must even trying to calm him down. It's not rocket science to know people's choice, the scenario that played out when Abia State governorship election was announced is a pure reflection of people's choice and the same template is used all over the world to know people's choice. A scenario where by the whole nation is in mourning mode and people are being lobbied to accept the election by fire by force is totally a miscarriage of justice. I repeat, if this demon of a man is sworn in, then democracy is gone for good in Nigeria. He literally gave a lengthy talk on the floor of the national assembly about why gay people should be killed. His colleagues, fellow legislators, who are extreme in their own way were shocked at the level of Datti's extremism.

With Datti's antecedent, no developed nation of the world would trust him in public office.

When I reflect during leisure hours sometimes, I wonder why "progressive generation Z" in Nigeria let the anti human rights proposals Datti made in the past to slide.

Was it really about progress, positive change or something else?

Freedom of speech is allowed in our constitution and any attempt to stop it is purely totalitarian in nature and no more democracy. So it's better for Nigeria to come out plainly and declare that it's a communist state than to hide under democracy and be practicing some thing deadlier than Nazi.
