Where is the sense in protesting, when you are sure that you won the election? I thought it would be as simple as wait for the d-day and get into that position. If you won fair and square, why complain or fear that your “democracy” would be truncated? And by the way, where is the democracy, when one of your own said that he was very happy over the new North/SW love relationship, sidelining the rest of the country, and hypocritically claiming the Presidency of the entire country?

I think this counter-protest proves a very important point that I already made yesterday: organizing a protest in the west does not imply any kind of endorsement by the host government, nor is it any sort of tremendous achievement, whether it be in front of the White House, Downing Street, the Reichstag or wherever.

Permits are handed out to anyone who asks for them, no matter what they are protesting about, and the decision to publish yesterday's post to the front-page was an act of propaganda, making it seem as if the American government were giving legitimacy to the nonsensical "stolen mandate" lies being peddled by "Obidients" who can't handle the reality that their candidate came third (not even second) in the presidential election. It's good to see this post also make first-page, however much lamentation and wailing about "hypocrisy" or "copycats" it evokes. Now it's longer possible to deny that the other protest was also an irrelevant sideshow.
