President Muhammadu Buhari administration has already made it known that the subsidy policy would end after the budget for the initiative lapses in June.

During his presidential campaign, Tinubu maintained that if elected, his administration would remove fuel subsidy even if Nigerians protested against the policy.

However, less than two months before his inauguration, there has been anxiety over his plan for subsidy removal as the development may push fuel prices to N750 per litre.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has vowed to resist Tinubu’s plan to stop fuel subsidy payments.

The organisation insisted that the countries’ refineries must be functional before the subsidy can be tampered with.

Will they actually remove the fuel subsidy this time or is it another ploy to yet again raise the price of fuel?

That's not a new thing.
Nigerians are good when it comes to adapting to suffering and smiling. Highest, within 2 weeks, everyone have moved on like nothing happened.

When they were promising the country more hardship, people were praising them. They informed the people in advance to prepare for hardship and not for better days. Some were still singing their praises, forgetting that it will touch everyone.
