I'm not holding brief for any politician but when I come online I see people insulting men at the helm in government. If you were in their shoes what will you do differently please?

From where I'm standing our problem is beyond governance, the way the world is structured Africa is going to be in poverty for a long time, majority of products needed for sustainability are produced abroad, from your phones, to your cars, equipments for your industries and power plants, heavy duty machines, pharmaceuticals, down to your social media. Nigerians and Africans in extension will continue to wail about bad leadership. Call me a pessimist but it is what it is. Life is not fair and the way life is designed, one side has to be repressed for the other side to blossom.

From where I'm standing our problem is beyond governance, the way the world is structured Africa is going to be in poverty for a long time, majority of products needed for sustainability are produced abroad, from your phones, to your cars, equipments for your industries and power plants, heavy duty machines, pharmaceuticals, down to your social media. Nigerians and Africans in extension will continue to wail about bad leadership. Call me a pessimist but it is what it is. Life is not fair and the way life is designed, one side has to be repressed for the other side to blossom.

This is what I would do differently. I will create a business oriented atmosphere, entise those phones and car companies to have their assembly in Nigeria, cut down cost on running government, introduce so many avenues to generate money into the country other than oil, get a working refinery in the God damn country!

For context, Japan made 5 billion usd in two months from just tourism and their population is just 120 million. 200 million people couldn't get up to 500 million usd investment. Little wonder there are no jobs anywhere even factory jobs are getting scarce. If you are in Nigeria and go to the bank to get dollars. It's war getting dollars from your account even small dollars like 100 to 200. With a tinubu as president and his reputation and the whole process that got him into the seat expect that number to drop to maybe 50 million usd or less.

Are you saying all the countries in Africa are not conducive for businesses? For you information, Nigerian economy is diversified, peter obi himself attested to that fact in one of debates before the elections. Those companies will still have to send their profits to their country in hard currency, how many Nigerians buy new cars? Even when the economy was fairly good, Nigeria was still a dumping ground for fairly used cars. You see our leaders are big thieves but till the end of time except there is an adjustment, Africa will always be disadvantaged. Kindly cite one African country that is in the league of US, UK, Canada, Germany and other developed countries. I read a publication yesterday that says the Nigerian government owes foreign airlines about $800M. They were unable to repatriate their cash after doing business in Nigeria.
