Doesn't really matter, Netherlands wear orange and there is no orange in their flag.

Italy wear blue jersey...no blue in their flag.

Germany wear white and sometimes green as away jersey- the country's flag has none of these colours.

The red colour indicates "extreme corruption" which is part of our culture.

That woman called Nike is really trying, she is always helping different countries all over the world in sporting activities. I don't know why she doesn’t come out to contest during elections. She seems to be a very shy woman. I don't even know whether she is single or married sef. Madam Nike, please continue your good work and may God continue to bless you and your family. I will surly name one of my daughters Nike when I finally settle down.

Before independence, the name for the Nigeria football team was "Red Devils" and I mean this seriously. If you look on the national emblem as well the Eagle is red not green.

So there is some history with red.

if am fifa president, i will make sure all teams wear their national colors. Which one is my jersey is blue but my flag is red
