So they came to Babangida to beg him not to execute Vatsa. Babangida said he will try and see what he can do . The way he put it, it looks like Babangida on his own cannot just free him.

Now, this is democracy. If they find anyone guilty of any nonsense plot. That person go see hell however highly placed that person is.
