How far with Dangote refinery? I thought it was scheduled to start refining in 2022.

Maybe they should use the money intended for the purposeless census to build another refinery while they use the data from our national identity cards, BVN, covid 19 shots to estimate our numbers. They can augument with health centers in every local govet to collect additional data without incurring more expenses. May God rid Nigeria of bad governance!

Yet we have sunk trillions of naira into building refineries according to the government.

Why can't we refine it and use it locally and export the rest to other African countries.

Finally, Naira will soon bottom down faster than Ben Johnson.
Not possible.

Nigeria is already looking at gas.

Very soon, nobody wil be talking about crude oil.

All emphasis will be on gas.

Nigerian leaders like easy money.

Nobody is interested in thinking out of the box.

You're sadly right grin

In Nigeria the Citizens are totally on their own, while the FG sell and shares crude oil money monthly to state governments to use it any how they like without any accountability; and the cycle continues grin

the one-way thinking leaders especially those ones only interested in naijiriya's oil refused to diversify the economy...even the one at aso rock is still spending what is left searching for oil when the world is diversifying further into other source of extra power.
For as long as they continue feeding fat along with their families on other people's resources, they don't care about anything or anybody else .

We can turn that around it African leaders invest in our professional to do the magic instead instead of investing billions in election rigging and religious advancement, let them invest in professionalism and see what happens

I pray the crude oil remain where it is for months till they eventually reduce the price to sell them off. This will make the government to start working on improving other sector to generate income for the country.
You don't know what you are praying for.

Those politicians are like me no matter what happens, Lion will never eat grass .So they must always have a way out which could further impoverish people and worsen the situation. So let it be sold.

The west want to negotiate, our leaders should please be mindful not to negotiate our future away, I believe there is a strategic revolution coming from African nations to totally free Africans from slavery. Africa should be ready because the west won’t take it lying down. If Africa is ready the leaders should carry their people along and truly be ready.

African leaders should train and sponsor people to reorientate our people to start thinking highly of Africa and show confidence in the greatness of Africa.

African leaders please support Africans, educate us about true survival, show us that you care, feed the disadvantaged as humans not as slaves teach us how to build and not tear down, show us value in self preservation, honesty and professionalism.

The way you care and respect us your people will force the west to respect all of us. We need to feel and be humans too, black race are the most disrespected in the world while we should be the most respected. Let’s earn our respect and not beg for it.

Sponsor people to identify gifted children, students and train them specially to work for Africas greatness
african leaders only care about their self and families

Please get our facts right as this is a public space for informing and learning.

Palm oil sell for $421 per tonne ($58 per barrel) while oil sells around $540 per tonne ($74 per barrel)

witsel4:
This is what you get when you don't vote visionary and committed leaders.

It would have actually been good if we exported palm oil instead of crude oil.
NB: A barrel of crude oil is around $87 but a barrel of palm oil is around $600. So which is better?
