You don't need one if you're not a rapist but if you're a rapist then you definitely need one.. |

Dramadiddy:No o.. I've seen tasers used to hit and pull down a target from a far distance. I read a lot about it in most of Sherlock's story books way back where cops used it on fleeing criminals. So of course it can be used from a distance. |

BeanX:let me break it down to you, you can't own any weapon in the name of self defense but you can defend yourself when someone tries to attack you and the weapon was randomly there, the weapon you use for self defense should be The same as the weapon used to threaten your life, you can use a s crew driver on someone using hands on you, you can't use a gun on someone who's attacking you with a knife, although there are loopholes to that for example size and strength difference, you'll still have to pay the consequences. My point is you can defend yourself but you can't own any weapon in the name of self defense but there are loopholes in that too I.e if the weapon is Natural like sticks and stones or artificial like knives and Screw driver. If there's a genuine proof of threat of life, you won't be held for owning a weapon. P.S you don't need a license to own a taser |

EriMma1:Buy it for your self defense. It doesn't kill. It will only demobilize your opponent for you to get security involved. The only problem is that the person would be released soon by the same police to finish off the mission after giving money. |
| Re: IS IT LEGAL FOR AN ORDINARY CITIZEN TO OWN A TASER?? by EriMma1(op): 8:42am On Apr 06, 2023 |
deltateam:God forbid I encounter such. It's not going to a direct encounter. Its to just separate two Fighting or disarm a stubborn person and you'll do in a way nobody will see or suspect you're the one. Maybe from your window, you see someone being overpowered, it can come in handy. I'm not envisaging a personal or direct attack. I reject it. Just to use it to control a chaotic situation as a mini security officer 😛😜😛 |
