NORTHERN NIGERIA IS THE HEADQUARTERS OF POVERTY IN NIGERIA, if not in the entire Africa. Not to talk about the worst level of wealth inequality and disparity. A few stinkingly rich while the vast majority wallow in deadly multi dimensional poverty.

The cause of that poverty is cultural in nature. The acceptance of a religion and culture that actively frowns on education or (western education) as it's called and forbids it's girl child from education. And until that changes, this problem remains.

If I were a footballer, and know that my career span is short. I would ensure that I prepare for the latter future better, knowing what has happened to those before me.

Instead of buying expensive and flashy cars and living in oversized mansions that would only increase my expenses. I will stay low, invest in long term assets like real estates, etc.
