New York cty alone, not the whole state, is almost 20 times the size of Onitsha. NYC is 778.2 km2 while onitsha is a paltry 50km2.

That is the most densely populated place in SE so you get the point when we demand that more states should be created out of Oyo state which is almost the size of the whole SE at approx 30,000 km2

Same way Oyo is more than 5 times larger than Anambra but judging from voters registration Anambra 2.7m Oyo 3.3 m. So Anambra is at least four times more densly populated

Oyo is approximately SE in landmss, but SE is more populated than SW minus Lagos. SE rural areas are semi urban so don't judge with the size of Onitsha. Idemili North, the largest LGA in Anambra, is an Onitsha suburb larger than onitsha itself and part of Onitsha urban metropolis. If you open that satellite image you will see Nkpor and Awada. Those places are in Idemili North LGA and house most of the things that make Onitsha great. Even the popular second Niger bridge is in Ogbaru LGA, same as Habour Industrial Layout

Oyo is largely covered by jungle, big for nothing, Oyo is not commercial producer of any Agro produce, practically known for nothing, even Anambra with small land mass produce rice, Yam and cassava more than Oyo state, Ibadan is largely covered by mud houses and brown roof , largest slum city in the world
