Please Nairalanders, my iPhone 12 Pro Max Fell on the floor and started displaying the white line and the "iPhone disabled" message.

I went to repair it and they are calling 240k for the disabled message to be removed. This is excluding the screen price!!

ITunes is a pc software used to sync iphones with laptops
Just use your pc, search iTunes download, install
Then plug the iPhone to the pc, while iTunes is running.
You may need to format, so prepare extra data to download new firmware.
If it works just send quater of the money they are asking

Op you can restore the iPhone by yourself if you have a pc using iTunes and a very fast and strong internet connection. The restore file size should be around 6.5GB. The white line is obviously a bad display. Change the screen.

I restored my brother own with my PC when he mistakenly changed his password at midnight and forgot it. The phone disabled after many trial of the forgotten password.

I restored it for him.

Your location matters. If you have any friend that has PC, I can guide you on how to restore it. It’s not worth the 240k they told you. Maybe you’re in a village and those guys are rigging you guys over there.

Bro how did you run it? Same thing happened to a Friend’s and the sim linked to the ICloud account isn’t available.
