Our southeast ppl have to play politics the way it should be played, not all these minority, tribal, christian politics that Peter Obi did with the general elections in February. National politics isn't Anambra politics. Our eastern brothers need to know that they've to reach out to groups, regions and other people of different and diverse orientations ,worldview and religions. They can't just assume that they can play national politics by just getting people of similar religions, tribes and view to vote for them and then expect to win. That's nothing short of a pipe dream. They should first show readiness to be pan Nigerians , and ready to integrate and also accept/believe in diversity of the nation. Somebody like peter obi should go back to the drawing board and see where a and how he got it wrong and stop fanning embers of hatred and violence

Why is the Igbo interested in Nigerian politics? Why is peter obi contesting the position and even going to court to steal mandate.

That's a criminal act,not politics at all, except if you are trying to link it to some dirty politics. What we are trying to get ppl of the east to understand is that when playing national politics they should appeal to all, not just a section. Sectional votes only cant win the presidency. The late MKO Abiola clearly showed during his time that a southerner can defeat a kano man right in kano and in the whole north convincingly. Tinubu also nearly repeated the same feat this time around. I still wonder how igbos or peter obi thought he could win by not appealing to a very large chunk of the populace esp the Muslims and ppl from the northwest, north east and more than half of the north central ppl?. With this type of sectional template that he displayed, if he had won, his presidency would have been more than disastrous.

Because he is the one that failed the test woefully, no leadership skills at all.

I like the term ‘play’ national politics.

In the game of national politics in Nigeria, the stadium capacity is restricted, the team players are shortlisted, the umpire is biased, and the supporters are kin, kith and stooges. All unified by parsimony for the greater good of the country.

Nonetheless, the ground upon which it was built is the commonwealth of all Nigerians. Hence the outcry.

The playground isn’t level anymore. It’s been seized by selfish men, denying everyone and anyone an equitable chance to play. So I beg to differ with your ‘learn how to play proposal’. Logic has syllogism, and all components must be rational and present. Nigeria’s politics is illogical.

When we watch and support foreign club-sides. Asides attaching our confidence of a win on the skills and fitness of the players we also subconsciously entrust the regulators to uphold the tenets of a free and fair game, hence multiple referees, security, multiple camera angles and the advent VAR. So, win or lose we know our best was permitted.

The political game in Nigeria isn’t played. It’s narrated or at best demonstrated by third parties on media screens like live score updates.

My message to all tribes will remain, Nigeria is yours, no ethnicity is superior. Fight for your right to play at whatever level you choose, whenever you want to, follow the rule of law and support a level playing ground.

It is a democracy not a monarchy or oligarchy.

Recently, there is a bill being considered to prevent doctors from traveling abroad. Will this bill affect Igbos only?

Bad governance affects everybody so leave the Igbos alone. Some Igbos voted for APC, some voted for PDP and some voted for LP so whats Igbo this Igbo that everyday?

Igbos are doing well and prospering well outside politics and that’s why they want good governance only . What you guys call politics is what most Igbos see as downtrodden and poor folks like you guys celebrating the structures that kept you in poverty’ and deluding yourselves you are playing politics...an average Igbo man is thinking about competing with Europeans and it makes him feel ashamed sharing same country with folks of such mindset as yours

how is it bad? Any doctor that want to go abroad to work should attend private university! We can't used put tax to train you for free then you vamose to UK to work. Any JAPA doctor can pay tuition fees even in public university and free to JAPA. 5 years is too kind supposed to be 10 years if we must train you.

Whether you consider good or bad, its affects everybody. So if you think the Igbos will suffer because they don't owm political positions then you're new in Nigeria

Yeah, they should do things differently.

They hate all other tribes. But they want everybody to like them.

Getting enough votes to be president from 24 states would always be problem for them.
