A wedding reception came to an abrupt end today, April 8, when fire broke out at the venue.

The wedding reception was underway at Yard 158, an event center in Oregun, Lagos, when things went out of hand.

It was time for the toast and the event organisers lit firecrackers but the fire spread to the decorations draped across the hall.

Guests tried to put off the fire but it spread quickly.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire.

Effect of doing too much. Who light's fire in an enclosed environment? This generation is too woke. From dropping cake from the ceiling to smoke bombs when the couple is dancing, to 'stoning' the couple with bundles of money.

If only these things make a happy home, we would have understood. Rather, there's far more focus on the ceremony than the actual marriage.

Why f.ucking lit a firecracker in an indoor event? What did the firecracker add to the toast? Now they have toasted, sorry roasted someone building and business.

Na so rain take scatter some people's wedding 9 years ago,but thankfully, these couples are doing well and presently in the United Kingdom....

Hopefully, these sorrowful event would be something the couples will laugh at in the nearest future ..
