A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Cairo Ojuogbo, on Saturday, claimed the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege worked against the emergence of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.

Ojuogbo said Omo-Agege never believed Tinubu would win the presidential election, hence did not work for his emergence.

Speaking on Arise Television, the APC chieftain claimed that the deputy senate president worked for the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi during the last election.

He also dismissed claims that the Omo-Agege’s faction of the party expelled him from APC in Delta State.

According to Ojuogbo: “Omo-Agege did anti-party, he never believed Tinubu will win the presidential election, look at all his postal it was Peter Obi.

He never believed Tinubu would win the election; he never worked for his emergence.

“Look at the way he carried out his campaign in Delta State; he gathered small boys and used them.

He said he was in politics to injure people, after which he goes around begging leaders.”

Who doesn't know that Peter Obi was the best candidate in that race? So, it's understandable if someone worked to ensure he delivers Obi in his state.

If you check well, Bola Tinubu didn't even win one state in the country but politicians and INEC ganged up to change the will of the people.

In the south esp the south south and south east, it was calamitous to openly work against Peter Obi. Emeka Ihedioha of imo state is feeling the heat. All the candidates that criticed Peter obi in the south east lost their seat. Even Oshimole in Edo state threaded carefully. It was a fight for your head first competition. So I don't blame Omo agege. It was his head first

He's back to political hibernation!!

I seriously doubt he will be back to his feet politically anytime soon, if he had worked for the party, he'll have have a genuine hope of heading a ministry but now faces an uncertain future.

Politics is local, he lost to the PDP at the local level and the federal level is going out of sight....

Even obi won in sambisa forest. I don't know that obidients have added massive lies to their lives. Thank God Nigeria dodged massive bullets in voting out obi. Nigeria would have been backward by 100 years cos I don't know why set of people will be dangerous and desperate like this. What I know is that all these lies can't give obi any mandate, it will only dent his image for another chance at the presidency.
