Kai... David lyon would have been a better candidate. Timipre sylva is a liability to Bayelsa APC. Easy easy for Bayelsa PDP.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had announced that the Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa Governorship Elections will hold on November 11, 2023.

The Commission also notified Political Parties that they have until April 17 to conduct their respective Primaries;

Hope Uzodinma polled 63,618 votes to emerge winner in yesterday’s special congress in Owerri in which he was the sole candidate. He faces the PDP National Secretary, Nnaemeka Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The Labour Party is currently conducting theirs across the three (3) States.

For Bayelsa... A former Governor and immediate past Minister of Petroleum (State), Timipre Sylva have been announced winner of the Direct Primary conducted across the eight ( LGAs in the State. He polled 52061 votes and will be the main challenger to Governor Duoye Diri of the PDP.

Others are: Great Joshua MacIver (2078), Chief David Lyon (1582), Prof. Ongoebi Etebo (1277), Mrs Ikisima Ogbomade (584) and Festus Daumiebi (557)

Sylva is a wicked man but he's more suited for the job than Lyon. APC needs a more educated and enlightened candidate than Lyon...We will work with Sylva.
