The summary of a research identifying the ethnic groups in Nigeria with the largest percentage of graduates (at the tertiary level) has been posted on the website of StatiSense, a data consulting company that provides statistical data on various sectors of Nigeria. The data’s source, according to the data provider, was MICS. The top 10 ethnic groupings according to the highest level of education attended in 2021 is listed below.

Ijaw — 20%

This map is wrong. Ijaw map spread into 6 states. That place you put Itsekiri, 80 percent of it is occupied by Ijaws.
Itsekiri are minority even in Warri 3 LGAs.
Ijaws are fully together but unjustly balkanized into 6 states of which are Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States.

Ijaw have 86 Clans with over 2,800 villages and settlements.

The map is Wrong tho

Tertiary Institutions themselves would have been a better source of this data. Although one may question the purpose of the divisiveness as almost everything gets politicized in this country.

However, the importance of data cannot be overstated. That's why I'm in support of moving this NPC census, if possible, until next year. It was a fatal error not to have done it before the elections. But hopefully, people (especially the South) will see the importance and partake in it.
