If truly Tinubu believed in "emi tiwa lokan Yoruba ni" - its the turn of the Yoruba then he should have not being greedy and allowed Osibanjo because osibanjo is a real states man, he would have floored Atiku and Obi. Igbos would have voted Osibanjo en masse.
But instead what happened?
Tinubu bullied his way through, selected another muslim as running mate which is contrary to the informal sharing between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria. Shettima is a man hated by Nigerians along with Ali Modu Sheriff for their role in the boko haram debacle and the killing of Mohammed Yusuf.
Shettima wants to bring back okada riders in abuja city centre.
Unlike Datti, Shettima does not enjoy popular support from his own people because of his shrewed personality. Indeed, the APC should have zoned the vice-presidency to the middle belt christian instead of a kanuri muslim since Tinubu himself is a muslim. If they done that, they would have enjoyed popular support.
