The NIA have failed once again. This crisis was brewing for a while, when Wagner the Russian mercenary group bypassed the national trade investment via the paramilitary group to guide mining companies in the northern region. Intercept shows that ministry of defense equivalent is disgusted by such actions, since they are the ones at the helm of affairs.

Omar Bashir created this issue by signing and assenting a defense bill that gives this paramilitary group power that to some extent mirrors that of the military.
