Firstly, 3 wrongs do not make a right. That the others were criticised does not mean the trend should continue.

Secondly, you were inferring that Obi said all Northern children are poor. You are wrong he didn’t say that.

Finally, I have said that it was unwise for Obi to say it the way he did. Somebody in his camp should have realised the potentially incendiary nature of the statement.

He wasn’t wrong, just unwise. What is the point of potentially alienating the bulk of the people you want to vote for you in a region. The aim should be to get elected first, then you can start fighting poverty as much as you want.
