Obi served a very specific role for APC in this election - to split the votes that would have carried Atiku to victory. There was no need to deploy any opposition research or character assassination against obi during the election.

We didn't hear about this until very late in this campaign. So he wasn't just a trader who made money from buying and selling alone, he also got govt patronage in a corrupt military era too.
