The fact that Malami the chief law officer of the country could not advise the president appropriately in that matter is unfortunate .

Imagine Buhari referring to gazette of 1960’s on Grazing routes when Land use act had overridden such archaic practice . Land use act is even embedded in the constitution o. Shebi let’s assume Buhari is a former soldier who knows nothing about the law on matters like that, Is Malami the AGF not supposed to inform him how Land use act had had vested the ownership of lands to the governors ?
Bro, that mannequin for Aso rock no dy hear word. I'm not try to exonerate Malami and other slowpokes but believe me, that man too get stubborn head. To me, he just wants flex with our money and protect his fulani interests at the detriment of our lives. He doesn't just care!

After galvanised the whole world snapping and smiling to the camera , what he could come up in that situation was grazing route? providing more Avenue for the blood thirsty animals to unleash their wickedness on us??

Malami and co Can only do the bidding of mr Dullard himself, so i wasn't surprised that he asked us to adopt that archaic method.

May Buhari never happens to us again.

The bold is my thoughts too. I have a relative who worked with the federal government; when she turned 60 (her real age ), my old man called her in my presence to congratulate her on her birthday . After the call he said something about the disadvantages of reducing one’s age. He said she’s 60 today but she can’t celebrate cos her official age is 5 years younger; any attempt for her to do elaborate celebration of the 60 years birthday means she’s out of the work cos her official retirement age is supposed to be 60.

It was then I knew people cut their ages especially wella but most times it’s usually not more than 5-6 years difference .
I have a friend who was kind of older than us but still our classmate. Those wey don go public school reach like primary 2 before they sent them back to Nursey 1 in private school. He was older but we were still friends. he also cut 5yrs from his age when he wanted to enter govt employment but his younger bro and sister did not cut their age. He is anti Tinubu and always throws shade at Tinubu about his age and education

That was how one of our friends tackled him when his recent birthday came up on facebook, that you wey dey shout about Tinubu if you get into politics tomorrow how will you explain than your 2 younger ones who we know are your aburos are actually older than you based on this new age. How do you explain that you finished primary school at age 6 and secondary school at age 11?

Because of how that will look this guy might have to clean out his primary and secondary education too if he enters politics. Well our friend kept quiet for a few days.

There are many things people do on their way up that they can't explain publicly

For example everything about Obi from graduation in UNN till becoming ED at Fidelity Bank is not properly documented. Especially his stay in UK. Where did he work? He conveniently claimed he is a trader. What was your trajectory from a humble graduate to a billionaire trader? Who were your market colleagues who you shared shop with? Was he trading in Onitsha as well as living in UK?

It's possible that Obi in a bid to survive as a young man did so many hustles and when he made money enough and established himself. And now became a Saint.

That relative you mentioned if she goes into politics there is no way her education details won't look funny e.g graduating age from primary and secondary school. So she might have to deny or clean out these education. Same with million of Nigerians who have done that in this Nigeria. Public office holders celebrities who remain 30yrs for 10yrs, footballers and athletes etc

Not everyone was privileged like them Osinbajo and Davido to live their lives in limelight all through

I don’t believe Obi was an hustler ; It’s obvious he had parents who were well to do.His story is not a grass to grace story ; rather a story of multiplying what was left in name. He doesn’t cut the picture of someone who had to struggle to pay his fees through school nor had to hustle to establish himself .

You will be suprised. As an example I heard that otedola did not go to university and that he was loan sharking before he decided to go into oil. And his success initially was pure govt influence. Obj apparently dropped an order that the man's vessels must be attended to immediately no matter their position on queue. This killed his demurrage cost and allowed him to do zenon diesel direct. Otedola would have been bankrupt if yardua had not died.

Obi is another Nigerian billionaire with a large blank space and plenty story.

Do you have a source for your version of the well to do parents
I have read different versions. The version I read was that his father died when he was very young

Someone once said his parents were traders with Obis parents and they traded together. It's wasn't like they were magnates just regular average traders.

There is a huge gap between not struggling to pay for school fees and becoming the ED of a bank. Did he work his way up the bank through SBO, AM DM etc

You didn't struggle to pay fees but you are not close to being the majority shareholder in a bank nor enough money to contest for Governor of a major state in the next few years

Obi contested for governor at 41yrs. He was already a billionaire way before that

The popular thing you will hear was that before politics in 1999, Obi was a businessman or trader who also was ED in Fidelity Bank and some organizations also lived in UK for some years. Nothing coherent that flows logically like Osinbajo for example who went to Corona schools way back in the 60s

TBH, the APC should have zoned the Senate presidency to only the SS and SE. Would have loved to see a head to head matchup between Orji Kalu and Akpabio cheesy

Who do you all think are the top contenders for the SGF, FCT Minister, and Finance Minister positions? 👀

I think Gov El Rufai would either be the next FCT Minister (one of his old jobs) or the SGF..

Otedola is an elite from his young age . Make una no dey believe all those stories they sell to the media to make these people appear as tho they had humble beginning . If he was almost going bankrupt from loan sharking how did he get funds running into billions of naira to set up zenon oil ?

I don’t know much about Obi’s journey to becoming a billionaire tho.

There is a reason you don't know despite him being governor for 8yrs, VP and presidential candidate

Who has always given public speeches and interviews given details about almost all his trips to different countries and what he did, with good memory to remember every detail even the amount he paid for a Marks and Spencer shirt 25yrs ago yet never dwelt on a very important part of his life which would have been a wonderful story to tell

OBJ will always talk about his military career because it's traceable

Do you think it's coincidence that Tinubu will always mention Deloitte Mobil hundred times when talking about his background but develop amnesia when it gets to education till secondary level? It's because Mobil and Deloitte are the true and verifiable ones that can be backed up with documents and dates

You don’t need to work ur way through any ladder in the bank if u buy the majority shares and get nominated to be on the board . It’s as simple as that . I’m not sure Obi claimed he was a GM, ED , etc . I think what I’ve read and confirmed to be true was that he was the chairman of the bank and this we know is achievable by buying controlling shares in a company .

I’ve attended different AGM of companies where u see chairman who preside over meetings being someone who didn’t work for the company at any point in time. It’s just by investment in the company .

I really do not know the trajectory of how Obi made his money , but if it were to be through illegal means(like u are suggesting here ) ; I believe he’s been in the political scene for close to 20 years now . He’s made both friends and enemies in that period of time. By now his enemies should’ve come up with a full dossier on him.

Lamba.

So him Dey use diesel generator, inverter and other operational cost which suggest he’s most likely running a business or a factory, he wants to compare it with individual energy bill in the UK?
Huh?
How much is the light bill of homes in Nigeria especially those in serviced apartments who have 24/7 light compared to guys in the UK.

Infact you can ask people that live in that 1004 estate about their light bills monthly for those apartments and compare it and see that there's probably not alot of difference.
Both are paying for 24hrs light with everything that comes with it I assume.
Now it gets more expensive for the UK citizen when it's cold 🤔.

Unless there are cheap rates people who use 24hours light in Nigeria pay for and I believe those will be few coz it would mean in some cases you are under an industrial electrical line🤔.

But again I'm open to being educated

So between mid 20s when Obi finished University and mid 30s. He made enough money to become a majority shareholder in a bank and many other companies. A billionaire before politics

Tinubu has been in the political space for even longer made more enemies than Obi can ever dream of yet no one has come out to say this guy was my mate in secondary school and his name is this. This was our pictures and class register or Waec register to give a full dossier on him

So if we are to believe everything Obi said because no one has brought evidence to counter it, why can't we believe Tinubu since no one has brought documented evidence against him?

The years of opposition to the FG PDP, DSS, State security, WAEC etc no one could find one of Tinubus classmates, his waec registration nor class teacher who knew this face belonged to someone else not named Bola Tinubu

I am not saying Obi made money illegally I am saying we don't know enough for someone who talks a lot about his growing up and his journey to success. Was it a rich uncle, he won a lottery, or just trading that got him that fortune? If it's regular Onitsha market trading that's even a more compelling story that he should be telling and selling every day with details. Maybe there's a reason we don't know

Obi served a very specific role for APC in this election - to split the votes that would have carried Atiku to victory. There was no need to deploy any opposition research or character assassination against obi during the election.

Now the election is over and the oppo research is coming out slowly and surely especially as obi is still claiming he won the election.

I already told u I don’t believe Obi is from humble beginning background most people think when they hear his parents were traders .

Ojukwu’s father was also a trader yet rose to become one of the richest men in his time.

So I saw this News piece online talking about Obi’s family background . It says his father owned a Mercedes which was a luxury in the 50’s/60’s. Even when his father died at a early age and the mum had to raise them, the woman still raised 8 children who are succesful today . How many widows do u know from a next to nothing background that could pull that off ?

I will liken Obi’s case to that of Cross of BBnaija . He’s the son of Ezego the billionaire that year . Despite losing their father at a young age, the widow raised her children and they are doing well today . It will be an illsusion for one to think they are poor like normal poor poor people

https://sunnewsonline.com/peter-obi-unveiled/?amp

As regards Tinubu he made enough friends and enemies and he’s got his own share of his enemies going after him with the little they know . It was his own party members in the AD that even started the drug peddling allegations against him. Like people that contested primary elections against him in the same party

His father’s death in 1968, when Peter was barely seven, and the effects of the civil war crashed the super market business and they started from ground zero after the war.

Obi did say Abacha appointed him to oversee port activities. I can't remember the exact capacity he served. He could have hit it big from there.
We didn't hear about this until very late in this campaign. So he wasn't just a trader who made money from buying and selling alone, he also got govt patronage in a corrupt military era too. Like Atiku who is always accused for making money through corruption from customs even though no one has hard evidence against Atiku stealing or being convicted of stealing
So between after graduation Obi lived in UK, was a trader, was trusted to see the port, became a bank owner, so what more will come out? In UK what job was Obi doing? Or was he also trading in UK or a student or worked a corporate job? Or was he working a corporate job gathering fortune, saving up money but known by a different name? Did he live as Peter Obi but dealt drugs or illegal to make tremendous fortune which he brought to Nigeria and made him buy unto multiple companies and own a bank?

All these gaps similar to Tinubus own are fairly common in the life of anyone who goes into politics and their lives will be heavily scrutinized

You can see that there were efforts to refine Obis stint from Uni Graduate to Billionaire who was bank chairman. There is a reason we all know bits and pieces of a puzzle of someone who has been in politics for over 20yrs

I don’t follow this kind analogy .

Tinubu claimed he attended GCI for his secondary school in the forms he submitted in 1999. Gani Fawehnimi believed he lied under oath and instituted a suit for Tinubu to be tried for lying under oath but Tinubu was already enjoying immunity so the case was dead on arrival .

How do u expect someone to come out and claim Tinubu was their classmate when Tinubu himself has removed the information from his INEC nomination forms 15 years after ? Like u expect someone to come out and claim Tinubu is their clasmate in 2023 when his spokesperson Keyamo had come out to claim he passed his exams from home ?

I don’t even understand where all of this is heading sef

The GCI story was the form filled by Afikuyomi where he claimed GCI, and University of Chicago

Tinubus 1992 Senate form he did not fill GCI in it
The Gani case, That was not Tinubus claim, that was Afikuyomis erroneous claim
Salisu Buhari also had immunity but was removed as speaker when the issue of Toronto came out.

One of APC case against Adeleke is certificate forgery despite his current immunity

So if you see your secondary school mate Segun Johnson claiming he was home schooled, now posing as Mudashiru Obasa you will not recognize the lie?

It's simple, you were asking why no one has come to challenge Obi with evidence, It's the same reason none of Tinubus classmates who knew him in secondary school have come out that his name is not Tinubu

If you are giving Obi the benefit of doubt because no one has come to challenge him with documentary facts, it's the same reason no one has brought out Tinubus secondary school details. They brought out Adelekes testimonial from the 1970s

Salisu Buhari did not have immunity . The immunity in section 308 of the constitution only applies to 4 categories of people ; the president, Vice President , governors and deputy governors .

How can u say that was Afikuyomi’s claim and not Tinubu’s claim ? 🤣🤣🤣

Do u even know how ridiculous it sounds ?

What did Obi do between graduation and entering politics that made him a billionaire bank chairman?

Answer was that he visited his primary and secondary school

grin

Raum argument is; how did Obi make his money? So clear it has nothing to do with schools attended by Obi.

Sigh....!!!

Adeleke is being challenged for forged certificate today does he not have immunity or does section 308 not cover him?

Tinubu filled his form in 1992 and didn't claim any secondary school , he claimed Chicago state university

So why will he now change it in 1999? Do you know how ridiculous it sounds

It's like Senator Abiru claims he went to LASU for senate form, in 2027, he wants to contest for Governor and now claims he went to Unilag

What does he have to gain by doing that when it's the same bachelors Degree
