Raum argument is; how did Obi make his money? So clear it has nothing to do with schools attended by Obi.

Sigh....!!!
That's deliberate distortion

Oasis how did you make your money after graduation?

Didn't you see my picture when I went to my primary and secondary school?

Tinubu filled his form in 1992 and didn't claim any secondary school , he claimed Chicago state university

So why will he now change it in 1999? Do you know how ridiculous it sounds

It's like Senator Abiru claims he went to LASU for senate form, in 2027, he wants to contest for Governor and now claims he went to Unilag

What does he have to gain by doing that when it's the same bachelors Degree
Do u have a copy of Tinubu’s 1992 senate nomination form? If u do, please share

In which court is Adeleke being tried for certificate forgery as we speak ? Hope u are not confusing civil case with criminal case ?

The tribunal case is a civil case in which APC and Oyetola will throw everything at him including the certificate forgery to have the election results overturned . It’s not the same as suing him for certificate forgery as a sitting governor .

Honestly I laughed out loud after reading that rubbish. How he came up with that gibberish in the midst of sensible discourse makes it more pathetic.

You will be suprised. As an example I heard that otedola did not go to university and that he was loan sharking before he decided to go into oil. And his success initially was pure govt influence. Obj apparently dropped an order that the man's vessels must be attended to immediately no matter their position on queue. This killed his demurrage cost and allowed him to do zenon diesel direct. Otedola would have been bankrupt if yardua had not died.

Obi is another Nigerian billionaire with a large blank space and plenty story.
It's like you know Obi very well.

I know that the Sultan once lived in PO house during his military years in Anambra. That was when PO was still an undergraduate.

He claimed to have been doing importations and also investing in real estate. These are stories that are verifiable. I believe APC men must have tried to dig up his history. If there was anything slight you can be sure that it would be in the media.

Truly I have free time on my hands today .
It's about verifying Obi's stories and further knowing his history.
We know his school history thankfully.
His money making history is there for us also.
All you have to do is guess what... Google it😩. Just Google it.
The issue is can you verify his claims. The onus is on you to determine if Obi has lied and so far you have done nothing about that.

Tinubu gave us a story. We went to verify the story and found lies and we further went to confirm the validity of those lies.

Put in the work abeg nau

Lmao... Like I said BlueRayDick simply needs to tell apc boys to go and do verification.
Obidients did not come and be asking questions about tinubu like this.
Na we go investigate and we are still investigating till today.

Come on you can't be hiding from the work.
When you find something that Obi lied about and you can confirm he lied about it then we will have a conversation about it.
It's that simple thing.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 6:17pm On Apr 23, 2023
This man is claiming APC didn't care as much but was it not on this platform guys were analysing the tweet Obi made about playing football and some people were ready to give their life to show he lied about his verifiable history 🤣🤣🤣.

But as usual APC didn't care coz Obi was doing them a great service.
So why do they care after they have "won"
You didn't care when you were contesting but it's now that you'll suddenly care after "winning".

You sef check your logic nau😩

U don’t even need to go far . Each time Obi is caught dropping inaccurate stats it doesn’t take more than 2 days for us to read about the “fact check “ on nairaland Frontpage and on Twitter .

Why is his doubtful source of wealth now something they won’t take time out to investigate and bring to our notice ?

Lmao exactly.. All of us go manufacturer the logic wey go give us blissful night's rest.

What I will not do is make your job easier.. Ewwwww.

If you Google how Obi made his wealth and piece together everything he has said and then verify yourself and find any lies and then you ask him and he doesn't provide any reasonable answers then we can talk about it.

Nah.. APC did a madness leading up to the 2015 election

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 6:30pm On Apr 23, 2023
BlueRayDick:
I don’t follow this kind analogy .

Tinubu claimed he attended GCI for his secondary school in the forms he submitted in 1999. Gani Fawehnimi believed he lied under oath and instituted a suit for Tinubu to be tried for lying under oath but Tinubu was already enjoying immunity so the case was dead on arrival .

How do u expect someone to come out and claim Tinubu was their classmate when Tinubu himself has removed the information from his INEC nomination forms 15 years after ? Like u expect someone to come out and claim Tinubu is their clasmate in 2023 when his spokesperson Keyamo had come out to claim he passed his exams from home ?

I don’t even understand where all of this is heading sef

I wouldn't have believed that a simple explanation like "he became a billionaire by trading" would be sufficient for those who are hell bent on finding out how Tinubu who was son of Iyaloja of Lagos and treasurer at ExxonMobil made his money

Funny thing about the whole thing is Peter Obi said he made his money from trade, essentially source (locally or internationally), and sell, rinse and repeat. Anyone that's been involved in a business of that nature knows that largely, that's what it comes down to...no fancy work history, just connects and plugs for getting stuffs into the country.

In today's Nigeria, computer village probably generates up to #2 Billion every single day, the people that put in the work to generate this money do buying and selling just like Peter Obi. There are several Naira billionaires in Computer Village today and many on their way to hitting that mark, all stacking their coins essentially doing what Peter Obi did, buy and sell.

Peter Obi's Abacha story is probably the biggest proof of what the man has been about. He being one of those that went out to speak on behalf of Lagos TinCan importers showed he either would have done business long enough in importation or gained respect by stacking the most coins faster than most... essentially he had to have been someone with interest vested in the TinCan logistics space for him to have not only been a representative in the meeting with Abacha, but to have been appointed as Chairman of the TinCan port.

Funny thing with this agenda they're trying to push is that tomorrow yarns of Peter Obi talking about production to consumption when he's a major importer would come up and they'd insert themselves in it... you can guess on which side they'd be, and the agenda they'd be pushing then grin

To be honest, this is one of the reasons i doubted if Obi can turn Nigeria from consumption to production

Like, this guy made much of his wealth from importation. I doubt if anybody here can point to one single local manufacturing company he has

If this guy could afford a house of 1 million pounds outside politics, what stopped him from producing locally?

I know many Igbo guys that are not fit to lace his shoes, but they produce here.

I no too believe Obi on that talk sha

BlueRayDick:
All this one U are saying is what the government would have u believe ; if u discuss with people from the affected areas u will be surprised they know and are very sure who their enemies are .The only thing stopping them atimes from resorting to self help is the fear of security forces coming after them when shiiit hits the fan.

This was the same way the Fulani militia were attacking villages and towns in the oke-Ogun areas part of Oyo state like Igangan and co. The people were always reporting the attrocities and waiting like sitting ducks without the authorities coming to their rescue . I watched a video of a man who had his two hands amputated because he was working on his farm when the Fulani militia came calling . The man narrated how they rid him of his arms.

The moment sunday Igboho armed the hunters/vigilantes , they went overboard in trying to protect their people and we all saw how the government came for him with full force.

And finally a government that is interested in security solution will not take the kind of position Federal government is taking on this Fulani herdsmen issues. They won’t be talking about grazing routes of 1960’s as a solution to problems in 2023
What Igboho may have done is attack innocent artisans

The Fulani that attack you don't stay in one place, they mobilise from the forest, a lot of times from different state

If a man who is a multi billionaire, and has just a rice mill, is selling local production to us, then.....

Men like Tonimas were already producing Engine Oil in the 90s, when Obi was a billionaire

Innoson was producing chairs locally here long time ago.

Guys?
Would you say we spend almost the same amount on electricity in Nigeria as compared to UK averagely in a year?
You have to factor in the amount you spend to also source for light outside nepa like fuel or diesel for gen and maybe your solar inverter (even though this is a one time payment in some cases)

Nihilistjnr wachu think?
Only if you have massive diesel generator

Electric and heating bill for the year was like N1.7m before the war and N2.5m after

Nihilist uses only electricity to heat up which is 4 times more expensive than gas so he would pay more than the above

Interesting stuff.
So the difference between someone who pays for 24hrs light in Nigeria and someone in the UK is not much it seems from what you are saying🤔. If we remove the period were they pay for heating. Unless I'm getting it wrong

Thing with this manufacturing thing is it depends on the type of business he does/did, and how feasible local manufacturing would have been. For some businesses it's easy, and for others it isn't so easy, and one can understand the problem but the condition to implement the solutions he wants to effect are just not possible.

There are several things that can be produced locally, but conditions to make local production possible are just not there...that could be the case with Peter Obi, and it's also possible that this consumption to production philosophy that's his mantra is one he's come to realize as a solution to our problems over time. You can't compare Peter Obi the 28-35 year old hustler to Peter Obi the 60 year old plus man, the way they'd see the world would be very different.

Bros, i don't want to make excuses for him. If men that are very low in wealth can produce, i don't see why a billionaire can't

Obi was a big importer. Can you list what he specialised on, and check if it can't be produced?

One thing you should know is that Importation is the easiest way to wealth, and that is what Obi, and many other billionaires settle for

For me, he is not fit to propel the gospel of local production.

My opinion, though

You are obviously so detached from what is happening with the Fulani herdsmen crisis . Which innocent artisan are u talking about ? When did Fulani start doing handwork in the forest ?

Prior to Igboho taking laws into his hands, there had been series of attacks , killings and kidnappings perpetrated by those Fulani militia in the Oke-Ogun axis . They killed indigenes who invested in their home towns and the government failed to bring the perpetrators to book. Igboho attacked the settlement of the Fulani because in his crude way he believed those Fulani herdsmen guys would not have free entry and free exit to the town without the protection/cover of the Seriki .

Guess what happened afterwards ? The same Fulani herdsmen came back to avenge the Igboho attack on the Seriki and the Fulani settlement . Is there a smoke without fire ?

You don dey see am. That their heating thing is the equivalent of say running a 4hp AC system for just a 2 bedroom apartment...try am for one month if you Neva dey go village.

That guy wey dey talk say e electricity bill for UK dey comparable to wetin e dey pay for Naija go probably need wait make winter reach make e see as e dey go cheesy

It's not like they don't have higher unit prices, but they only pay as much as they do compared to us because they have much much higher electricity needs.
