It's not that popular here in Nigeria.

For a sport to be promoted, it has to have a critical mass of people who play and take an interest in the sport. That is why government sponsors football and boxing and athletics, and does not even look at sports like rugby and bowling.

I think government does pay attention a bit to tennis, but at the end, it is not that popular like football.
