Feminists are in the minority, patriarchy princesses are in the majority, the majority can't suffer so the ego of the minority gets assuaged
Good.

Then stop dragging feminists for seemingly favourable decisions that they have no power to institutionalise.

if there's ever a situation like this, I'm sure feminists can insist they be left behind or that whoever they deem truly weak and vulnerable take whatever slot was apportioned to them.
Be left behind that what?

Because I don't value my life or what?

This is why good governance, civilization and education is good.

Yes, I know it is almost unrealistic for EVERYBODY to be saved in a dangerous situation, but the rule of thumb in emergency situations is to save as many lives as possible, is it not?

More ambulances, more lifeboats, more emergency attendants, more evacuation techniques, more food, more spaces, etc., so that everyone, MAN or WOMAN doesn't have to be lost. That's the goal of a working society.

There should be no need for segregation if we had more buses and money and like the logistics to carry every single Nigerian in that country.

Now in the case where that isn't possible, omo, let nature take its course in Jesus' mighty name 🙏.

Also, have you ever seen a feminist in an emergency situation who did not offer up her slot for a child, a disabled person or a pregnant woman? undecided

Why imagination wan wound you?

If every options above has been exhausted, and I unfortunately happen to not be saved or a man somehow got the last available rescue, because all man for himself and I'm left behind, all die na die niyen.

If it was within his power to give up his slot and he wasn't altruistic enough, it's okay. He's human. And this is not me trying to downplay the impact of such a situation. And I have never been in one, so both you and I do not know what we will do for real. I'm just saying gender preferences and all these things we're saying will be the last thing on my mind.

Fate/Faith (and survival) will be the only thing at play.

You are basically calling out the patriarchy system.
Thank you o.

It is not one of the rhetorics of patriarchs that they are protectors?

How is that feminists problem?

If there are any seemingly positive "loophole" of the patriarchy that I can benefit from, I will take it.

If I can do without the negative ones, I will dump it.

The patriarchy backfiring on men is not a proof of inequality.

And this also ties into the patriarchy/tradition/misogyny trio.

While these three might intersect and one may not exist without the other, not every traditional practices out there is hostile to women.

So I am all for traditional women who want to be treated right and subscribe to some pro-women notions.

I didn't ask you if you've seen men make sacrifices for women o, but e reach your turn you're now asking if I've seen feminists not make sacrifices for the old and vulnerable, why not provide me with instances of these sacrificial feminists, so we're sure it's truly in their nature and it isn't just convenient peace-time rhetoric?

I don’t even know .

But what usually amuses me is Africans born and raised in African societies attempting to copy the woke culture of the west. I just read, smile and move on.
Okay, okay, one last one before una go join come for my head for being a disturbance again. 🤣🤣🤣

I guess the Aba Women's Riot of 1929 was an act of westernization too o, abi?

You can literally find thousands of evidence of our foremothers long before colonisation and Independence fighting for their rights in African societies, but you will always stretch to America loun loun in a bid to believe that we're practising something 'foreign' in 2023.

If your babe wants equality, allow her to get it. At least sharing responsibilities 50/50 gonna make things easier for both parties, especially financial responsibility.

It's like you just want to roll and roll and go round in circles. 😁😁

I am not saying anything difficult; AFTER vulnerable people, all man for himself.

I am not the arbiter of nature's rules. In the absence of law and order, anarchy always reign.

Lmaooooo. You're funny.

Go and google the "Birkenhead Myth" and see that men don't always sacrifice their lives for (random) women.

Do you want me to be bringing anecdotal proofs for you ni? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

If I had the clout I would ask this on Facebook or Twitter or Quora. But you really want to think there wouldn't be feminists with such experiences? Kai. Dkm, plis.

(I would have mentioned NL, too, but for obvious reasons, taaaa).

Scope? Aight. Believe whatever you want.

Vawulence cheesy,

That state and most especially Bayelsa dey fall hand. All Bayelsa politicians ought to be lined up for public flogging
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Eunoiaa(f): 5:47pm On Apr 27, 2023
But feminism is bigger than sharing of bills sha.

Even if I don't contribute shit or jack financially to my marriage, I am still an equal human and partner in my marriage.

Aren't y'all yet to grasp what EQUALITY truly entails? Oh, boy.

It stands alone. In and of itself. I don't need money for you to respect me and for me to be respectable, lol.

Money can be a tool of ease (just like education, house, etc), sure, but it can never buy human DIGNITY (and decency).

And y'all are the older guys? Aren't you supposed...? Oh, actually. It makes sense that a lot of y'all will be traditional.

Some of you can just be relatively calmer than the younger ones. grin

On a personal level, e nor pass like this. Couples deciding for works for them instead of a "must do this because you're this sex" approach.

This is it 'fundamentally'.
