Na hin be say Lagos is not on national grid again. You guys can hype this lagos as if it not the same place some of us lived for over 10yrs. I heaved a sigh of relief when my job took me out of Lagos to Asaba. Life here is far saner than that of Lagos.

They took loan to purchase these,
Not as if they will use the proceed from the business to offset the debt o, they will loots and the debt keep pilling up for the future generations.

And you forgot this is a multi billion dollars project run by private sector.

Before making such investment consultations have been carried out already

State can now generate her own electricity some government buildings in Lagos don't depend on NEPA or generator

The funny fact is some persons talking down on this initiative don't even base ok Lagos

Don't transfer your hate from Tinubu to Lagos

Before this guy's choose Lagos consultations and talk have been done with the government

That's why most investor prefer Lagos to other state

What shall we now do with our Innosom diesel vehicles?
Re: Lagos, Oando Take Delivery Of First Electric Buses In Nigeria by legba1(m): 8:51pm On Apr 27, 2023
We are a oil producing nation, our economy/revenue generation is dependent on Fossil fuel, we are gradually shifting towards renewable energy yet we are not doing enough to diversify our source of revenue generation.
Re: Lagos, Oando Take Delivery Of First Electric Buses In Nigeria by Ellasure: 8:52pm On Apr 27, 2023
with tinubu as Nigeria president come may 2023 electricity issues will gradually be devolved.

tinubu fights or initial disagreement with obj was wrt devolution of authorities to power utilities in Nigeria.

the military has bundled various sectors of the Nigerian economic development into bunches that will never work because of jobs for the boys principles and arrangements.

if we unbundled the tied up sectors of the Nigerian economy and allow public and private businesses into the business environment as it is done even in other west African countries Nigeria will be better served. everybody will be happier for it.

it will initially stress people and the managers but eventually it will broaden the economy and people happier.

the Lagos state government must have very good ideas of what they are doing with the electric power buses.

Where's the power to recharge them? Let's first of all make the electricity adequate and stable. They should not start doing load shedding because some buses need to charge.

Where is the energy to power these buses.
They have certainly thought about it.

1. Will they use BRT lanes to ensure that journeys can be estimates against kwh/per x hrs? - YES

2. Can they ask Discos to create priority areas for power especially overnight? - YES

3. Are these fast charge vehicles? - YES

4. Is there an economic case for these vehicles? YES, carbon credits generated can be sold on the international offset market for USD

you have to believe what you are seeing.

some states in the same Nigeria are not on the same level of conception and economic development plus growth.

president buhari have signed some economic laws that has freed up power sectors, banking etc and things can not remain the same. very soon you will be seeing states laying gas pipeline project, oyo state has contractors working on a gas power stations at three sites already with buhari signatures. many other states are doing something too wrt power generation and distribution network.

tinubu is for fast economic development and heavy properties growth. if your states is not focused during tinubu period of presidency they will be left behind economically.

tinubu is ahead ahead guy for economic growth and development.

Good development...but I'm just wondering how they want to be charging these buses because they consume a lot of energy.

If it's generator they'll be using to charge, then it's penny wise, pound foolish.
Solar can be used to complement normal electricity. Their are companies that are powered with solar.
