*DEBUNKING IGBO CLAIM OF MARGINALISATION*

The major areas that this is brought to my attention are

1) *Pro Unitate Schools*. After the war one of the social programs to foster unity among the tribes were unity schools and the nysc. The Igbo would always complain why is our cut off mark higher. The purpose of the unity schools was to create an environment where children from every state in Nigeria can mix to correct some of the prejudices we have about one another so the selection was skewed towards a quota system as that is the way to get representation from every state.

Note that responsibility for primary and secondary education rest with the state government and while the West and the North provided free education the East chose not to and this was part of the reason for the exodus from the East to the West and North.

Also often times there is this expectation from the East that they should always set the agenda and it should always be a free for all fight and the survival of the fittest but equality is more about providing the right tools to people at their level as we are only as good as our weakest link. It's more about progress and improvement and being seen to be carrying everyone along.

2) Jobs in the federal civil service this has been debunked as an exercise was carried out to check the genuineness of this claim and it was determined that the contrary was the situation as South Easterners were over represented in the Federal Civil Service than any other tribe.

*If you know any other areas that Igbos claim marginalisation let's debunk them or see if there is some truth or reason for it*
WHAT ABOUT THE PRESIDENCY?

What of presidency?
Presidency cab be given a la carte. It has to be negotiated and political party determines this. The Igbo tend to play sectional politics thereby supporting only a political party; this is not supposed to be wrong but where a party does not serve your interest, why not switch or find an alternative? Since 1979, The Igbo nations wherever they are in Nigeria have always voted on a particular pattern. Hatred and bias for against other ethnic tribe is the reason They have not been able to get strong alliance for them to emerge president.

Don't worry, as you now claim all FG assests in Lagos are yours, eg, Airport, Seaports, bridges, National Theater, National stadium, turnkey flyovers....you will get to know how as Igbos have started moving their investments gradually to the East..

When you travel from your Ogbomosho to Onitsha or Aba to buy your wares instead of going to Lagos, you will understand how things are.

Continue supporting evil.

In presidency it should be open for the best candidate to emerge.

In employment, where exams are conducted. you throw that away remembering quota system, so others can be accommodated irrespective of their skill levels.

Go to NNPC 85% of the managers are from the north.
Pls bro I beg you in the name of God be very honest in this discussion ok.

Anybody or region anywhere in the world that want to be politically relevant must plan, build relationship, be Liberal, work and participate in National political positively. Pls in all I listed name one SE did correctly, just one?

Bro we can not sit, hating everyone, so abusive, disrespectful, secessionist and yet want goal post shift to our side in national decision bro. Pls let's be honest.

Soludo only spoke his mind and the next we saw was his village got burnt down is that the right way to sell a product?

Yea, you talk about NNPC you are right but in a honesty with the way SE conduct themselves seen other tribe as nobody if they dominated NNPC by now all other tribes will be roasted.

In some years back according to record any govt parastatal any SE head no other region or tribe will breath or get position in that section, history neve forgive bro...

Now the seed we sowed now hunting us and we are now complaining.

Finally, obi goofed completely and destroyed his God given chance to put SE back on political track but he is so crude, naive and poorly advised to allow miscreants called obidint to ruined his chance, bro no sane human will vote for obi to rule over them with the way obidient conducted and behaved themselves.m, hope obi learn his lesson....

Truth is bitter but it heals at the long run. No sentiment in this bro

Show me where the SW through OBJ in 1999 did what you are suggesting.

Stop shifting goal post.

In 1999 the SW got the two slots in the major parties for peace to reign which was understandable.

Now the two major tribes are sharing power between themselves, leaving the third.

This is not a way to bring people together.

Both parties should have presented people from SE and Nigeria will pick one as they did for the Yorubas in 1999 and the north in 2015.

You evil people like writing epistles once the matter affects Igbos. Why the phobia?

85% by whose calculations that is what was said about the Federal Civil Service and it was a lie.

A president the first criteria is that they believe in his vision and will honestly commit to its delivery, Often times unrealistic expectations exist by people who want to reap where they did not sow. There are already technocrats to see to the day to delivery in the person of heads of service and permanent Secretaries. The ministers are politicians who ensure that the vision and mission are appropriately directed.

Will a Conservative Party choose labour ministers no.

Infrastructure and Agriculture. It’s tough all over the world not just in Nigeria and covid was a killer for a lot of businesses.

Don’t we now have Abakaliki rice and Nigerian chicken but unfortunately not a lot of Nigerians want to get their hands dirty.

Obj ended up being a lesson that gingered the intelligent Yoruba minds in Lagos and we now know that we can survive without an allocation.

No Igbo state would have survived it. They are currently not able to show us what they did with their allocation self

Dig deeper, there's a difference between those who formed PDP and APC.
PDP is a millitary / Northern Hegemony / Southern politicians.
APC is formed by Northern politicians and Southern politicians.
Unfortunately, the South East has been fed with lies that any party aside PDP will not favor them, so even SE politicians didn't move when those who have foresight are leaving.
The only few who moved were labeled all kinds of despicable names.
In the west, they only follow leaders whom they trust, so wherever their leader go, they follow.
If PDP was not dumped out of power, by the politicians in the north and the west, another northerner would have win in 2023 again, why did Tambuwal and Atiku play their game, at the last minute?.
Power will not be given on a platter of gold, you have to really work hard to take.
I told my Igbo friends that the only way Obi will win the presidencial election, is for Atiku to step down first.
Then Tinubu will step down for Obi.
And the whole of South, MB and some understanding folks in the North will also vote Obi too.
If Tinubu step down and Atiku didn't, Obi will not win,
Why did you think Wike played so ruthlessly with Atiku?.
Wike knows that power must come to the south, so that south can effect whatever change south wants.
Strength for strength, can Obi beat Atiku? no he can't.
Strength for strength, can a Tinubu beat Atiku? no but there's a chance.
So Wike set up the G5 and worked against Atiku, so that his desired southern president can go through.
you need to understand how things work.
What just happened is a final outcome from a man with knowledge and very good on his chessboard, this has nothing to do with hating on Igbos.
Tinubu is combination of three Yoruba leaders. Alafin Abiodun, Awolowo and Abiola. and the grace of God.
1.Alafin Abiodun, a warrior King who in conjunction with Borgu king, made Fulani Jihadists fled from Ilorin, to modern day Brining Kebbi.
Tinubu is a fearless man, ready to go all out to get what he wants.
2. Awolowo, Foresight and brain power is what stood Awolowo out among is peers., Tinubu is brilliantly smart.
3. MKO, MKO has money, Tinubu is stupendously wealthy.
I keep posting it on this site that there's no contest between a warship and a speed boat.
Hate can't stop those who have made up their minds to succeed.
There are no easy ways, hard way is the only way.
Shalom.
