The point we made was that military cannot enter Sudan without making the rebel uncomfortable and putting the lives of the evacuees at risk. If you are a rebel leader and you see fighter jets entering your space under guise of evacuation what will come to your mind

The C-130 the airforce are taking to Egypt is not a fighter jet, if they were to go into Sudan's airspace for evacuation, they won't be doing so with a fighter jet. Besides, I didn't even say they should go into Sudan's airspace with military planes at all.

The military is handling evacuation in a safe area so what have you proven? If the military was evacuating civilians in a Sudanese airfield while under fire, or under the threat of fire, you would have a point. In this case I am struggling to find one.

My point wasn't the use of military jets in the evacuation, I said the military should be involved in the evacuation, dressed as civilians if need be, and without weapons...to execute a tactical and ordered evacuation from Sudan.

I even hope this evac from Egypt will not backfire sef. I do not trust our airforce to properly maintain their planes. They are having avoidable accidents every 6 months

You cannot execute a tactical and ordered evacuation with 5500 civilians. Particularly undisciplined ones like the foolish boy who was posting nonsense online.

This is not raid on entebee airport where the passengers were conveniently stowed in the airport which had a working runway and easily taken out fighter jets

Air peace evacuated Nigerians from Poland/ Romania in the beginning of the Ukraine special operation.

Air peace also did the evac from Libya.

There is no hard and fast rule for civilian evacuation.

The c130 is a MILITARY plane. It can be retrofitted asa gunship. By design it is tougher to shoot down than a civilian jet. And it is used to move commandos and material. So it would also be looked at as a hostile aircraft.
