Stop talking rubbish. You want people to pay for darkness. We are the ones that wired our communities. We bought Transformers, high tension wires, poles with our hard earned money.
After all these they can not give people light. Then you now expect people to pay for service not rendered.

This is why there are prepaid meters. You don’t have to pay for what you didn’t consume. People have been buying transformers since time immemorial all over Nigeria. If you have prepaid meter. You only pay for what you consume.

We did too even up to paying to our community 100k for transformer, 36k for poles and tension wire then 100k for meter egunje and connection but we pay our bill religiously. Its prepaid in anycase.

That is the cost of getting electricity in my own time and way but a lot were even refusing meter (almost free of charge oh) because they reckon it might cost them more.

They have refused to give us prepaid meters. We don't even want it for free. We want to buy it any amount they want to sell it to us, but they refused. We don't get light up to 3hrs a day but once month end they come up with estimated bill of N40,000.

You believe Nigeria can't be saved but still think Peter Obi can reverse her bad fortunes. What you may fail to understand is that integrity or personal conviction isn't what NIgeria needs. No former Nigerian President was as less corrupt as Buhari but we've all seen how a worse disaster he became. The truth is Peter Obi himself would get overwhelmed. Remember same Peter Obi even as governor made many moves that has bigotry tune. He would have probably done worse because his kinsmen would frustrate his efforts just like they did Buhari. Buhari started well with initial gra gra but got overwhelmed. Same fate would have befell Obi.

I am convinced only crooks and mad men like Atiku and BAT could have really made the chances that is if they are willing to sacrifice personal greed as they both promised. Nigeria need a practical and realistic person to handle this nation. Forget the idea of been a perfectionist. All we can do is hope that BAT won't allow his personal greed.

Obi2saveNigeria:
Nigeria is dying a natural death but you all keep deceiving yourselves. I have checked all indeces, made analysis, extrapolated and projected forwards, and all I can see is a dead end.

Peter Obi probably could have have helped to reengineer the country but that opportunity was missed. Instead what should have been a rallying moment turned into a disaster.

Charles Darwin's theory is playing out on Nigeria and you can't save something that can't be saved.

Aba was first disconnected, nothing happened, but

It took one day to reverse the disconnected discos, because Kaduna and Kano were disconnected yesterday?

Nigeria?
Aba is even a new company that should be given grace yet TCN remembered what's grace only when North was involved.

Google about Anambra immediately before Obi took over as governor. Their government house was burnt. A sitting governor was kidnapped. The Uba family were controlling the affairs of the state. Students couldn't go to school for almost a calendar year. The Onitsha branch of chairman of NBA and his wife were murdered in broad daylight etc. The state was in total chaos but Obi turned it around within 8 years. Built their state Secretariat, schools, hospitals, roads, paid off pensioners and still left billions in local and foreign currency for his successor.

Obi built a great foundation for Anambra and since he left, the state has remained at the top of most positive indices in Nigeria.

If you think he can't replicate what he did in Anambra on Nigeria, that's fine. However, to believe that a drug baron and extremely corrupt old man can turn around a dying country is the height of delusions. But you will most likely not have a country before he completes 2 terms in office.

Tinubu is old, has corrupt tendencies and is surrounded by very corrupt men yet you think he has anything to offer?

This was what I said someone here thought otherwise, there should be a deadline for all household in Nigeria to migrate to pre paid meters, and this should be set by the TCN backed by FG.This way the Gencos and the Discos will sit up. They will be forced to invest in their own infrastructure just like Telcoms.
