Nigeria is a deeply tribal state, something like this was naturally expected to result from the segregation they did in Sudan. I don't know whose idea it was to segregate Nigerians in a foreign country, it wasn't a very smart thing to do...whether this video is true or not, a situation like this could have been easily prevented by doing the right thing.

Abike Dabiri didn't do herself, the diaspora commission and the ministry of foreign affairs any service by making that tweet...for someone who spent a good part of her career in communications, she's been doing a horrible job of communications and PR.

As in……Most of the females I knew growing up got enough inheritance from their parents’ estate . I only watch it in nollywood movies of yester-years that some cultures don’t allow the female child get inheritance . It’s news to me that people still cling to that kind mentality this 2023.

Yes. My mother has properties she inherited from her father who died in the 80s. Though for ease of sharing they decided to sell it and shared the money equally among all the living children
