Humor me and show where in my Oga manifesto that he said he was going to print money or that he was going to break the limit on government borrowing from the CBN.

Let’s start from there.
God please..
Explain how he plans to delink naira expenditure from dollar inflow?

Explain how what buhari did is so different even though its illegal

The man has even given a justification for this action in his manifesto just like he gave a justification for saying printing of more money coz of a significant situation like COVID-19.

So again.. The floor is yours.

Are you aware of the specific constitutional requirements to be declared the winner of a presidential election?

It is your God-given and constitutionally upheld right to whine yourself. Don't let me stop you from whining yourself but you too should not stop me from laughing at you. grin grin grin

My brother.. If you like insult it's your problem.
Every single thing I've shown you especially this last one has pointed to what I said about him continuing what buhari did from a legal perspective.
You have argued and refused to answer.
Your own is the word should be the same.
Again your guy doesn't want to tie naira expenditure to dollar inflow.

But you won't explain what that means.
It is the same buhari did by breaking the CBN act.
But go on.. Deceive yourself.
Like I said we will be here.
The same manifesto he justified it by saying we are in emergency times😁.

It is the same you that has tried to point out the reason tinubu said we should print more money is because of the COVID-19 period.

So are you arguing against the man and his manifesto abi what?
Nobody is insulting you, you are doing that all by yourself.

I’ve told you several times that you are mixing a lot of things together and it’s the same thing you are doing right now.

I’ve established to you today that there’s a difference between government borrowing and government spending. What Buhari broke is different from what Tinubu is proposing, if you still can’t get it at this point, my bro I can’t help you.

And yes during the pandemic, Tinubu did advise the govt to print more money to inject into the economy to stimulate the economy (You should go and read about Quantitative Easing) it’s the same thing all sane countries over the world did. That’s exactly what the US did with all their covid loans, stimulus checks and including reducing interest rate to almost zero which in turns stimulate the us economy, the side effect which is inflation is what the feds are currently fighting right now by increasing interest rates. In theory when interest rates go up, borrowing becomes expensive and if borrowing becomes expensive, consumer spending will decline and if consumer spending decline, demand will fall which will in turn make the price of every day goods falls also thereby reducing inflation. I believe you get the logic.

I’ve repeatedly told you what Buhari did is different from what Tinubu proposed, you can continue to delude yourself though since it will give you talking points.

Just admit you were wrong and keep it moving.

Next please.

Larride I did not ask you for a break down of what the US did..
The US isn't Nigeria.
The effect of what the US did isn't the same effect we would experience because even if the US prints extra money the fact that the world trades in dollars can offset that.

For Nigeria it would lead to inflation as simple as that.

Incase you don't understand what your oga is saying, let me simplify it for you.

He wants to spend money but remove the source needed to spend that money.
Hence why I keep using the buhari reference.
Even if you argue the 2nd part of what he said, the first part should basically be the easiest thing for you to understand.

And again he gave a justification for why he wants to do that.
I even thought you'd try to justify his reasons.

Infact larride you are the only apc supporter I have seen who is arguing this😂.

I’ve asked you repeatedly to show us where in Tinubu manifesto he said he was going to print more money, can that be too hard for you to do since you are too sure that’s what he said he was going to do?

You have been conflating government borrowing and government spending since yesterday and the reason I’m the only APC supporter even arguing with you is because I give you the benefit of doubt that maybe just maybe you know what you are saying. I’ve come to the same realization that others did that you have no idea what you are talking about and you are just looking for an avenue to wail.

Don’t let me stop you from wailing, go ahead bro. Wail away.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 7:30pm On May 04, 2023
Someone wants to increase "naira expenditure" but he doesn't want to peg that to dollars inflow.

Buhari did the same thing but from an illegal angle by having the CBN print out an extra 20 trillion naira to finance our expenditure without the required dollar inflow.

But as usual you'll twist this larride.

Meanwhile your oga provided a justification for doing it.

Baba just Dey jump everywhere without even having any idea what he’s talking about.

I remember me, you and maybe GloriousGbola talking about the dollarization of the economy I think last year on this thread and how it makes no sense that almost all government contracts are in dollars when the naira is our nation currency and how hard it will be to de-dollarize the economy.

Be like the concept is new to our Oga here.

Hopefully Tinubu stop that rubbish of increasing excise duty especially on commodities like food items and cars.

Almost all our neighboring countries are reducing their excise and import duties while we keep increasing ours. We are losing port revenue to our neighboring countries and the same items will still be smuggled into the country.

How do we even want to fight food inflation by increasing import and excise duty everytime ffs. 😡

Buhari Abeg now 😭

We are loosing port revenue to our neighbors.

I don’t think the tax they are getting can offset the revenue they are loosing.

NEW PORTS DEVELOPMENT:

In keeping with the Authority's commitment to creating an enabling atmosphere for the construction of more deep seaports after Lekki Deep Seaport (which is already operational), and Badagry Deep Seaport, the Managing Director Mohammed Bello Koko [NPA], today received the Ondo State Coordinator for Special Projects, Mr. Boye Oyewumi, who submitted the Full Business Case (FBC) for the Ondo Multipurpose Deep Seaport Project.

Located along the coast of Ondo, the port is estimated to cost USD 1 billion to be funded through a PPP plan.

Receiving the FBC, the Managing Director assured that the Authority will work with the Federal Ministry of Transportation and other relevant agencies to ensure all necessary final approvals are obtained quickly to enable the port to commence operations in record time.

The NPA Management has consistently restated its readiness to provide the requisite technical guidance and for the establishment of new ports in line with global best practices.

Building infrastructure as a President won't get you any kudos in Nigeria.

Nigerians just want you to fight inflation, stuff that hits their pocket directly. And that power is often out of a Presidents hand.

If it's by infrastructure, IBB remains the GOAT for building this, yet Nigerians couldn't wait to chase him out. You borrow to build train lines through bandit country, who are you deceiving. We all know insecurity will put those investments out of action shortly. What of this trans Saharan pipeline they are supposedly planning to Algeria? Anyone think that's a good idea?

It’s even 2 trans Saharan pipeline deal.

1 to Algeria and the other 1 to Morroco. I pipeline deal would’ve taken care of it though but Algeria and Morroco no Dey see eye to eye.

All our three major refineries are undergoing major repairs and rehabilitation.

Port Harcourt refinery is at 60 percent completion and might start producing this year.

Kaduna and Warri refinery will start producing next year.

This is a good one. God bless Nigeria.

The 376 Nigerians that landed in Nigeria were evacuated by both Airpeace and the Airforce C-130.

According to NEMA, there are 900 Nigerians currently at Egypt border, there are also some at Port Sudan.

Azman Air and Max Air Ltd has landed in Egypt last night to evacuate those in Egypt while they have contracted Taco Aviation, A Sudan based aviation company to ferry those at Port Sudan back to Nigeria.

I’m not sure those they will evacuate will be up to 5000.
