They need to build fire station around that side. Maybe the market union should engage Lagos state fire service to influence how a fire station can be built around that axis.

I was alarmed recently when I noticed a fire station is just being built at iyana oworo bus stop. I find it hard to believe there was none around that axis till now.

I once stayed with a friend whose house is not far from a fire station. Omo Lagos state dey try in aspect of fire service o. Those fire service guys get called almost every night to respond to emergencies ; they can drive out 2.am once they receive distress call.

I am saying they diverted the actual captured vessel, and burned an empty one for show.

If you empty a fuel tanker but do not thoroughly degass /render it inert, expose it to any flame and it will explode.

I know of three or four instances where this happened. In one case the tank was ruptured, in one case a person died and in another a person was hospitalised.

Anyone tells you they are burning an oil tanker is lying through his teeth.
