Hello, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the following please:
I recently received admission to a Canadian college that required half of the tuition fee to be paid within the next few days. Just as I was about to make the tuition deposit next week, I received an email from Saskatchewan regarding the expression of interest application I submitted about a year ago.

My question :
1. can I apply for both a study visa and a permanent residency at the same time?
2. Could anyone who has recently received an EOI from Saskatchewan please advise me of the average processing time for an EOI application?
3. I presently have a Masters degree that is around three (3) years old, but I have more than ten (10) years of verifiable job experience as a Web Developer in both Nigeria and Europe with ND and HND, does my masters degree need to be up to ten (10) years old to be able to claim this experience?

I'm asking because I'm not currently in Nigeria and my current visa has about a year left on it. The main reason for planning this canny waka is based on my believe that if I applied now, my study visa application might be approved before my legal status in my current country of residence expired. Also, even though I am eligible for visa renewal, but I don't seems interested which means that I have to explore the best option to get me and family to Canada legally within this period.

Do you think ignoring the admission and study visa is a best option?
Do you believe I'll be able to complete the entire process, from EOI application approval to PR application, by February 2024?

Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated.

You will get the form at the hospital after completing the medicals.

Depends on what provider you’re using for your medical. Is it IOM? I wrote a detailed comment on the process for IOM if you can do a search on the thread.

Hi guys

So I just got an ADR pertaining to my application. I’m a bit confused tho. I have no clue what the second request is and the first one says to sign the schedule A in an original signature. Does that mean I have to print out the form to sign it then scan it back ? Thank you in anticipation of your responses

I think after receiving your report there is a short window to appeal or write for any corrections ?? Has it passed ?? .
This is a very dicey situation because you have gotten ITA , maybe you could use an affidavit or LOE incase you don’t get in touch with them before the elapse of your ITA . https://www.nairaland.com/4657743/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/308

Well I used Qlife and I don't remember providing my express entry number. I only provided my name and presented my passport which the hospital copied. The hospital and IRCC must have a way of synchronising data.

House please help!

My brother received Alberta PNP nomination but still awaiting Nomination certificate. Unfortunately, the increase in proof of funds requirement without notice has made his account ineligible.

We called Alberta, but they said the Nomination cannot be transferred to a new profile.

Is there a way around this?

No way around it , he has lost his $500 CAD ... He could try and persuade them though .... but I doubt it will work . It’s even one of the rules clearly stated on their page . It cannot be transferred ..

Good day guys, I have a friend who is a software engineer but is waiting for December to write BCS exam to boost his score. We all know Ontario has one of the few pathways for foreign workers with no jobs. Today they cut about 1800 people. Do you guys think if the keep cutting this amount regularly soon in the future they won't be needing healthcare workers and software engineers ?

Maybe you can try asking ChatGPT it might make some meaningful suggestions. Let him even get ITA first before sending you on the errands.

Hi fam, it's great to meet everyone!
I must say I'm very happy to have discovered this thread in the midst of my overthinking and insomnia this midnight lmao 😂

I have a question about Newfoundland and Labrador PNP please.

In their points calculator they listed different categories. Like University degree with at least 3 years of study is in a different category with 23 points. Then degree or diploma that took at least 1 year of study is at 15 points.

The problem is, I have 2 out of all those listed categories - a 4 year B.SC and a 1 year postgraduate diploma degree. I'm confused on how it should be calculated. should I only choose one of the categories (ie my BSc only) or should I add the points from both my 4 year degree and the 1 year diploma please, since they are presented as different categories? Thank you so much in anticipation 🥹🥲

Schedule A - AFAIK complete form online, print out, sign, scan, upload in placeholder.

Application Kit - no idea o...unless you just added a new family member. Urgently call them (page 1 post 6 has steps to call IRCC) to ask what it means. The deadline is very close and you may not get a response to a webform in time but could still try sending one to clarify.

August 2022 - IELTS. CLB 10.
7 September 2022 - ECA. Master's degree.

I hope you were able to solve this.

Also include screenshots of your examination invite which showed location of exam as Nigeria in the LOE and a link to the BCS IT page which showed this is a distance learning course.

This is what i did eventually. I included each exam invite showing Lagos as the venue for the exam. Thank you.

most provinces dont have two or more degrees in their grid. You can only chose one. They already said 28 is the maximum which is master. Cant be combined
