Also I see those people who said Tinubu won't win the presidential election throwing caution to the wind again. They are always fast to jump on anything against Tinubu and time and time again, the man as always proven them wrong. Well let them enjoy this few days of bragging again until Akpabio becomes the SP when they will revert back to their default mode of always wailing.

Finally, I'm glad they have agreed now that Tinubu will be sworn in as the president, they may not agree by their words but by mere discussing Akpabio as SP who has been nominated by BAT, one way or the other, they have agreed.

I also see some southerners shouting that what PDP is doing is great, they have forgotten that those people are rooting for a northern SP, before they'll latter come and be castigating Tinubu for not evenly distributing appointment o.

And unfortunately for PDP, constitutionally, SP can only come from APC which is the majority party, so wether they like it or not, APC will still be SP.

it's similar to how ACN then supported tambuwai against PDP choice of mukailat for speaker... During GEJ time... it's Politics... Akpabio need to campaign well simple and opposition guys vote matter on nass floor that day

There's no PDP governor dead or alive as formidable in projects rendering like Akpabio, the last I check, he was the only uncommon transformer in PDP, he's no more there children be crying.

If you understand politics, you should know that the opposition parties can be easily penetrated..LP, YPP, PDP, NNPP and SDP.

Don't forget that all Rivers state senators are voting APC...SDP will vote APC too.
NNPP can play ball if APC offers them something tangible.

But then I don't think Yari is popular enough to beat Akpabio in a contest... but I think speakership is where issue go happen I don't see Abbas from kaduna winning since rumors suggest he has been annioted... I think 2015 happened because Buhari allowed it to happen...Buhari and Osinbajo is not thoroughbred politician, unlike Tinubu and Shettima. Buhari didn't show interest in who was going to lead the house, unlike the way Asiwaju is showing interest now. Another thing is Oyegun the then APC chairman gave a kinda support to Saraki.
I don't think they will allow the 2015 experience to happen again.

Before that day what Tinubu needs to do is to summon all those contesting after all they are all APC members to the villa and ask them to step down for Akpabio.

Every body will campaign...That is what Akpabio is doing already.He even demonstrated by going to ph with 40 senators across party lines...APC, PDP, NNPP, LP.

Its APC family affairs and I believe they will settle their issue before the D day
