All those killings that happen in this country due to insecurity can be reduced with quality health care.

Which is also why police and military now turn their entrance to obstacle courses.

There are actually multiple instances where gunmen or bandits have attacked military personnel or govt convoys. As it is, travelling in a convoy now is only good for bullying civilians, nothing more. We saw how ifeanyi ubahs entire security detail was killed.

Arming citizens is Useless if there is no 911 style rapid response where you can hold off the bandits until the cavalry arrives.

As it is today, standing up to bandits or criminals is dangerous as it now becomes personal. We have all heard stories of gangs that came back in force to deal with the person who shot back at them

Until we have a country where bandits and robbers do not have police and soldiers in their ranks, and where crimes are actually investigated and solved, arming citizens is a Hollywood solution. It is in movies that a gun solves all problems in the space of an hour.
