Supreme Court killed the purpose of card reader in Gov Wike case in 2015. The same Court has killed the much celebrated purpose of BVAS in Gov Adeleke case. If you will need physical BVAS to prove over voting then it is not different from manual accreditation. Since the report sent to INEC server is not reliable, the INEC staff that help you to rig election will also help you to wipe out all information on the BVAS. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria isn't ripe for relying on INEC database technology |

These your opinion is only for those who understand the precedent of cases like these . Stuffing of ballot is still allowed due to loophole created by the Supreme Court judgement today. For instance if you say the Presidential result for River state is not accurate then how are you going to prove it when the court itself have ruled that you can't prove overvoting since they still rely on EC8A and not IREV. Every election tribunal have been decided with yesterday case, every opposition should just go and find something else to do for the next 4 year. 2 Likes |

Physical BVAS was required because of INEC mistake of different reports but once all reports are same, physical BVAS won't be needed. 1 Like 1 Share |

DMerciful:but it seems the purpose of bvas is identification ,to identify the voters and to use the number of accredited voters to checkmate overcoming . So if the use and importance of bvas is relegated or considered secondary what other fool proof method does INEC have again to verify voters |

BVAS will never be relegated. It is BVAS that transmits both accreditation data and snapped results sheets to the IREV portal or server. However, getting the physical BVAS to a tribunal is extremely bulky so their reports which is synchronize to the server would suffice onatisi: |

This is not true. Manual Accreditation of voters is prohibited. The SC also emphasised this in that judgement. |
