Nigerians celebrate buying of car because most households don't have a car. Imagine if everyone has a car, would it make sense to keep posting your newly bought car on status with captions like "more wins"

To know how poor a country is, just go to the city and take a record of the ratio of the latest car models (2018 at least to 2023) to old models (2003 at least to 2010).

Or take a record of the glittering brand new cars on the road and the old scrab dilapidated smoking vehicles on the road....

Poor underdeveloped countries celebrate everything basic.
