I think Nigeria should criminalise delay in payment of salaries. Any state that does not pay on the agreed date should have its governor lose his or her immunity. I don't disagree with you. Most private sector employers pay their workers on time in full every pay period. It's nothing special or complicated. The only reason it's delayed is because they don't care and plan their budget badly. I'm sure you can find examples if you search them up.

Alpha beta is running a legitimate business and they are consulting for many states, even the non-APC states. It is also operating in Ghana and Sierra Leone. Stop listening to politicians, if you must then use your head too. Alpha beta is not the loophole that’s stealing from the state but the ghost workers.

You are right. It should be no 1 on the budget, after that, then others. I bet those governors and their lawmakers salaries never delay. Nigerians suffered so much in the hands of politicians who do not regard them as normal humans or their equals. and sadly, many Nigerians have fitted into the definition, the worst they can do is abstain from work and show up for pay, and the system keeps degenerating.
