EFCC be helping themselves the most amongst law enforcement agents in this country . EFCC is worse than Nigeria Police; let’s just say they are a more educated arm of the Nigerian Police that use their exposure and education to enrich themselves more than recovering stolen loot for the government .

Magu alone during his time as EFCC chairman abandoned 14 fraud cases that involved 118billion naira and 309million dollars . What did u think happened ? He just dropped the cases because holy spiritual advised him to do so ? Magu also failed to remit 48 billion naira loot recovered by the commission.

Recently EFCC raided a lot of yahoo boys In Ogun state with videos trending online. The next day a video surfaced online claiming most of the boys arrested are back in their respective homes after paying 500k to 1m bribe for their release. I guess the EFCC boys must have learnt from their top bosses who mess up cases against big men fraudsters and fail to remit loots recovered

I know how they roll. I know legit people who have been there due to no fault of theirs. I know those who have been in and out of their too who have unclean hands .

The current minister of transportation says before e-ticketing on Abuja - Kaduna railway, revenue was 50m a month. After introduction of e-ticketing, revenue has gone up to 500m a month.

You begin to wonder why they didn’t introduce e-ticketing on the Lagos - Ibadan route before launch. With the crowd I met the day I tried that train, that route should be making nothing less than 700m every month.

There were some true horror stories on SM some years back. Breaking and entering into hotel rooms without warrant. Alleged sexual assault. A whole lot of mess

The place needs a new head. Someone picked by ribadu. It all starts with leadership. Look at what Marwa is doing with NDLEA.

There is no way efcc was not aware of what abba kyari was up to but the guy was doing what he was doing.

You also have the casual abuse of power. Most of these security officials sieze assets and convert them for their own use. And they use their powers in personal matters. We were overseeing a project where the contractor was a partnership. The project was not moving despite cash payments. One of the partners was in efcc and the next thing he assessed the bank records of the other partners and found one was diverting funds to pay his daughters school fees.

The whole thing was very very disturbing for me, the way the guy casually started accessing his partners records. God help the woman married to a person like that. Or even the friends.

I don’t think politicians fear EFCC like u are making it seem. I agree businessmen fear EFCC cos they can mess up ur business . Just EFCC red paint on ur building reading “ Possession taken by EFCC 11/05/2023” can ruin ur filling station business, fast food business, Hotel business etc .

A politician will not fear efcc because at their root, they are incompetent, corrupt bullies. They rely on harassment and intimidation. That’s cos most times they acquire evidence illegally and then try to tender them in a law court as legal. That’s why some of those big yahoo boys with lawyers always walk free

Buba Marwa did not leave administration and started contesting for political posts whereby he will owe so many people Favours along the line. I know he’s a card carrying member of APC , but he didn’t contest for the presidency like Ribadu did nor become a governor like a Oshiomole.

INEC website is not the source of truth, Its when the entire results has been collated and the results sheet signed

Let's wait and see how the lawyers of LP,APC,PDP and INEC will argue in court and the decision of the judges. We can learn a thing or two from it.

Justice needs to be done fast to those whoever was caught stealing public funds. The lack of consequences is what is emboldening a lot of these politicians and the fact that the case can linger for several years with no end is sight till either efcc get tired of the case or something happens and they walk on technicalities.

Thats the point. Paid lawyers won't bother with the results on IREV because it simply cannot be proven.

That's because DSS should've either obtained permission to arrest Emefiele from their boss and Emefiele's boss(Buhari) or share substantial evidence with the judge that would've made the judge grant the arrest warrant without waiting for Buhari's consent/permision.

The judge made a good point in his No1 point abd the first part of the No2 point, however the second point of the No2 point and the no3 point do not seem reasonable.

So the court wants the EFCC to arrest Emefiele BEFORE applying for arrest warrant.

Miracle no dey tire Jesus. Imagine the EFCC that used to carry out illegal and irregular arrests now decided to be law-abiding and get a warrant first, and the judge is castigating them for it.

And what concerns the boss of the respondent with the application for the arrest warrant?
So if the boss of the respondent I.e the President does not approve the application the judge can’t follow the law? I thought the judges were meant to be independent and there was meant to be a separation of powers?

This is just a case of a “shaky shaky daddy” judge who believes there are sacred cows and who didn’t want to step on toes.

. Our judiciary too is corrupt sha. We have seen instances here in the pass where an appeal court judge revealed that a supreme court judge told him to rule election tribunal case in favour of the ruling party.
