Muslims are only majority in 2 geo political zones of North east and west. All the remaining 4 zones are Christians populated. So the top brass of the institutions in charge of electioneering are lslamic fanatics hiding under public servants. They rigged the election purposely to entrench Muslim Muslim ticket.

2) Christians also voted for Apc..

3) People voted Tinubu, not because of his tickets, but because they felt his the best based on tracks records. His alliances and his political sagacity also did helped him!

Despite the M/M ticket, wasn't their set backs for him? Wasn't their ganged you against him by even Muslims? But of course, he fought like a man and scale thru above all the setbacks!

Lastly, my point above is so clear. There's no need of argument. Everyone would harvest what they planted accordingly..

Your Nasarawa statistics is wrong, they are far more Muslim in Nasarawa than Christians, since 1999 all governors are Muslims.

A big YES, as long as the conditions are in place.

So lets imagine at worse, Nigeria is 57% muslim and 43% Christian, in a 3 or even 4 way race where 2 or 3 of the major contestants are Muslim Northerners and their is a Christian Southerner that unites the south and a Christian VP from the North, do you think he or she would not win like Tinubu, GEJ or OBJ did earlier?

The core north has 13 states, a christian needs to get only 25% in 2 of these states and a more total votes than the other candidates to win. Kaduna and Adamawa have more than 25% Christian populations.

What hampered Obi was that he was not able to unite the South, the same thing that hampered Atiku (Tinubu actually won the whole North and lost the South by only 100k votes)....so you see its not as simple as 123, politics is complex. In fact even a Northern Christian presidential candidate could unite the South especially if Tinubu does 8 years.

So again, the answer is a big YES However the unity that is needed to achieve this would be unthinkable at this time.
