I was communicating with her on a steady, I was very plain with her u can ask her nd I did not even take a dime from the owner or anything from her u can ask her.
It is not my car and I told her it is my friend who is more like a big brother to me and he is someone I know maintains car very well, if you can look at the pictures of the car you will know it is taken care off very well. I sell cars to people and I also buy from pple and we both know naija use cars you will have minor things to fix.

The first issue with that dead car, steering pump (which you confirmed while the mechanic was with you).

Little did I know your car had other in born issues.

Master brake was f*cked. You go dey inside traffic, hold brake, car go dey roll.

You put ball joints that were too small for the car, then constructed a metal and welded it to both ball joints. Una do well.

Engine had already been worked on.

Steering was still as stiff as rock even after changing the steering pump.

All engine seats were bad. ALL of them!

The so-called tyres you claimed were “Grade A” were bad! Especially the two in front.

Every month, issue go dey.

I pity whoever buys your cars.

I have no regrets, everything is a lesson.

But, I pity whoever buys stuff from you. You don’t know a damn thing about maintaining cars. Tueh!

That was how a very popular and highly respected car dealer here sold a Tokunbo Mercedes Benz that the engine has been worked upon to me.

I trusted the fellow due to his reputation here and hired a mechanic in Lagos to go check the car and bring it down to Abuja.

That car nearly took my life.... After a year of fixing one part per week. I sold it the same amount I bought it. But I had already spent over 50% of the amount I bought the car on repairs...

From AC, to Power Steering, to complete set of exhaust.. Everything was just falling apart.

I understand what you're going through perfectly because I've been in your shoes too. I bought one Honda civic that the seller was a pastor sef. After all the respect I had for him and his encouraging words, I bought his car.

Could you believe that I used my money to buy depression? After a few months, I sold it because it didn't meet my needs. I spent so much to put it together, yet it wasn't successful.

I had to let it go.

Today, I had to go see another car that I've been trying to buy since last week. After much preaching from the owner, I asked him to drive it so we could test drive it. He gave me the keys, I declined. I insisted that he drove it to avoid issues or blames later.

As he moved, I discovered so many issues up to 5 obvious issues.

He said he'd get them fixed. I told myself that I'd take my money elsewhere.

1. Don't be too hasty to buy a car.

2. Explore many options.

3. Patience is a virtue.

4. Go with a very good mechanic that won't play you during transaction.
