Since this is our church, I came to give my testimony.
I wrote this movie in 2021 and we just shot it two weeks ago. It was produced by our company, Julob Entertainment Ltd and we had casts and crew from over five states, including some known faces.

Has anyone else produced a film, how did you go about marketing or selling it? Any advice will help a brother.

I am only shy in front of my personal camera when I am alone… but I can't be shy in front of other people.

For people saying it wasn’t up to, we used two black magic 6k, rented equipment from Lagos and Enugu, booked hotel rooms plus feeding of cast and crew, transportation, payment for story and script, payment of cast and crew, we shot in a university, booked apartment and had to settle some people.
We shot in Owerri, our DOPs came Uyo and Calabar, gaffer came from Lag, makeup came from Enugu, director came from Enugu.

We haven’t added money for pr and press releases, plus we are planning a premiere.
You won’t know till you’re in the industry.

How you distribute the movie to viewers will tell how much you will earn.

Cinema : Better to use this before releasing on other platforms.
Netflix and co. :With the right awareness, you may be contacted to have your movie on their platform, if that happens, you don blow. The question is: Is your movie up to that standard?
Youtube : Channel you are posting it on must be monitized with huge followers.
DVD :Many have moved from that long ago, netflix and its likes have taken over. Although, you may still make some pienuts with DVD.

NOTE: Before any form of distribution, create good awareness in the right places.
Social media is your best bet these days.


All in all, becareful in your approach, piracy fit no let you make one shishi.
