A Twitter user has teased the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar after he hailed Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, for breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, IGBERETV reports.

Baci has set a new record for a 100-hour marathon cooking.

Atiku's congratulatory message sent to Hilda Baci on Twitter read;

"Congratulations, Chef Hilda! A proud nation thanks you for cooking Nigeria into the Guinness Book of Records. Keep the sumptuous meals flowing . -AA"

That tweet wasn't called for at all. Some people are just bittered souls.

Nigerians want to live like Americans, where entertainment is a big deal, but we forget that those guys over there have almost every basic things of life, so they can afford to while away time, celebrate and entertain themselves even with the most absurd. Their forefathers fought for a good life which everyone is enjoying and happy.
What are we fighting for? we give so much attention to the most absurd, all in the name of entertainment. In Nigeria if it's not entertaining it doesn't make sense.
That's why people would be killed in plateau, Borno, Imo Kwara, Ondo etc, and all over Twitter it would be about how Don Jazzy slapped Tiwa's ass or how someone broke a record for the longest dance etc.

This is a generation of entertainment, almost sliding towards a generation of bas*tards as the Italian society was described in the 13th century by Machiavelli.

Even if Nigeria gets the desired leader, considering the level of decadence and decay, it would take decades for the country to produce youths with a sound mindset.
