This is not a good decision especially at this time because of funding. This University will only increase the financial burden for the state. How much is kogi state IGR? The sane thing would have been to add courses to existing University and expand it's facilities for necessary accreditation of courses.

Under Yahaya Bello, Ebiras have shown themselves as better administrators of Kogi State than others claiming to own Kogi State by virtue of population and number of LGAs. Yahaya Bello has in just 8 years eclipsed the achievement of the three Igala Governors before him, namely; Late Prince Abubakar Audu, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Captain Wada in infrastructure in the State.
One lesson we all should learn from this is the so called minorities need to be tested with leadership, the salvation of this country or some States may lie in the hands of those we all choose to despise because of ethnic minority status or religious difference.

Every penny spent on education yields the highest return on investment. Kogi leads in educational endowment and achievement in the northern Nigeria and this is a clear testament to that. Kudos GYB
