There was anxiety in parts of Lokoja, Kogi State on Tuesday following a loud explosion heard on the premises housing the office of the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade.

DAILY POST gathered the incident occurred early hours of Tuesday.

Efforts by our correspondent to reach the Kogi State Police Command failed as the command’s spokesman, Williams Ovye Aya could not take his calls and failed to respond to text messages forwarded to him.

There have been several incidents of bomb blasts in the state.

Recall that on June 3, a bomb blast in the Idoji area of Okene Local Government Area of the state killed a resident and injured others.

Are you implying that was what APC did to PDP in 2015? Create insecurity and kill people to paint the then ruling party black?

This country is gone already.
Security is zero and our leaders are as clueless as the word clueless itself.
No where is safe again, not even the federal capital territory.
Imagine government shutting down schools in the capital of a country.

To even stand close to the Nigerian Police is even scarier. Imagine the task force in Lagos killing an innocent citizen because they where seizing okada.
The other day, a whole presidential guards were waylaid killing 3 soldiers. I just weep for this country.

I just hope those criminals have not hijack Lokoja.
If these happenings where happening in the South East, or Niger Delta by now the pythons would have being dancing, but as long as these barbaric acts are in the north, nothing will be done.
I even read that one hopeless Islamic Professor wrote a petition against a pastor for blaspheming his beloved Prophet Mohamed. I wish the north can just be their own country, this country will be a better place
