Let me give you a free advice of ehailing is what you insist on doing for the now. Go to Owode Onirun, mile 2... Look for a Honda civic with clean and sharp interior with first body pan that wouldn't need any body work. Clean car oooh. Without engine or gear or without both... I mean bad engine and gear. Buy it for 500-700k.

Go to Oyinbo or move the car there, then buy a tokunbo complete engine that comes with compressor, alternator and all for 200k. Sell of the old engine... That will serve for workmanship. Take the car to a car wash.

You'll still have 200-300k left for minor suspension repairs

Come back after 1 month and do thanks giving

Guys, I have been noticing something of recent. I see commercial drivers buying boiled eggs in traffic and in d garages. Is there any benefit or advantage of boiled eggs to fulltime drivers apart from the normal nutrition and health benefits of eggs?
Cos these women will boil a bucket full of eggs and before evening they have finished selling it. Personally, I don't understand why people will just be eating boiled eggs like snacks, I think there is something in this practice.

Protein, vitamins, mineral salt, a little bit of carbs and fats and oil. Egg is a natural energy booster. I used to eat of alot of eggs when I was on rental of 50k per week as far back as 2017. It gives me energy to drive 16hours everyday. (5am - 10pm) without getting tired.

There was a time i had excruciating pain on my legs and feets, the pain was so serious I found it difficult to walk. I went to see a doctor. Medical test was carried out, they discovered I had too much cholesterol as a result of too much consumption of egg. Blood was not flowing properly to my legs due to cholesterol building up in my veins and arteries.

Prolong sitting for hours was the major issue because I wasn't exercising and at the same time eating too much of eggs. Medical reports stated i had P.A.D due to lack of physical activity or inactivity. Since then i have stop eating too much egg. And I don't sit and drive for hours like before again.

If am to drive for a longer period, I ensure there is intermittent break, after a long trip, I come down from my car walk around for like 10 - 20 mins before I continue work again

I drove on bolt for about six months, those period was enough for me to know one won't achieve something substantial in the moving Lagos up and down.i took the hard decision to quit bolt and startup a business. I can tell you guy, that was the best decision I've made. I haven't gotten there yet, but I'm totally in a stronger position financially, than when I was doing e-hailing. To me, it's not worth it

A colleague's car Toyota corrolla was hijacked at gun point last Friday @ 12pm midnight around lekki conservation centre, ( that dark path leading to Olusesi road via orchid.. He responded to a Bolt trip going to Abraham adesanya.

The victim is still receiving drip at the hospital, according to him, the guys even fired a shot at him...thank God for his life.

Night hustle is not for everyone. There's more to it than just driving aimlessly. For the past two months now I've only been working at night except a rider books for offline.

I see drivers in their Corolla Park anywhere, sleeping and I begin to wonder if they know whats at stake.

Couple of nights ago, I parked in front of Brassars place at Admiralty way, (one thing about me, I always park in a Get-Away position) So I saw this Aboki guy park a bicycle behind my car, I was observing him from the mirror. I got a request from Olubunmi Owa, so I reversed to enter that street, I saw the Aboki, standing beside one corolla, the driver slept off on the trunk, the moment I passed him, from the mirror I saw the guy pack the drivers sandal, hopped onto his bicycle and cycled away. I pursued him with Reverse but he quickly crossed over to the other lane and ran off. I went to the driver, it took me hitting him severally before he woke up.

Now Imagine someone like that, if he's car keys where in sight, anybody can easily push him off and steal his car.

That Olusesi Conservation road, I always see some guys lurking around the entrance of the LCC, sometimes they call you when you drive by with your windows down, I pay them no attention and always at alert.

Normal, na God they save man but make we they add smartness and street join. One guy too, should be less than 25yrs from his look, parked his very sharp looking corolla in the middle of Lekki Epe express way, before Ikate traffic light and was looking under the car, in the middle of the express at 2am, with engine running. I had no rider, so slowed down, asked him what's up. He said he's hearing one sound, I told him, you could drive down to Folixx, get a safe spot and check!

If they collect that guy car now, he go be like say them do am bad.

Very true , eggs are good. ...Wayback I had two boiled eggs and 5 slices of bread for breakfast with hot cocoa.

Ginger helps too. Like one stub of ginger (cut in small pieces ) in 750ml handy warm flask ,3 table spoons of Milo, no milk, no sugar. I use hot water. Around 10am, I start sipping it. Real energizer.
