Gunmen Kill Businessman, Edwin Umealo, In Anambra by EcoBrick(op): 9:51pm On May 18, 2023
A businessman, Sir Edwin Umealo, has been murdered by some yet-to-be-identified assailants at Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Umealo, who hailed from Umunze in Orumba South Local Government Area of the state, had attended a meeting in one of the communities in the state and was returning from the meeting when the assailants trailed his vehicle and struck.

The reason for the attack has not been ascertained but a close family source who did not want his name mentioned because of the sensitive nature disclosed the news to journalists on Thursday.

According to the source, the slain businessman, popularly called “Sir White” by his friends and business associates, was killed at 7pm last Sunday as he was driving to his Asaba, Delta State residence after the meeting.

It was further gathered that his assailants, after shooting him, allowed him to die in the pool of his blood in his SUV car without taking any valuable.

“His car, handsets, cash and other valuables that were with him were left intact when the Police came and took his corpse to the mortuary. Family sources believe he must have been trailed from where he attended the meeting,” the source added.

Umealo who is a businessman at Ogboefere Market, Onitsha is married with four children.

The Anambra State police spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, has yet to respond to text messages and calls to his mobile line when contacted for confirmation on the matter as of the time of filing this report at about 8:24pm on Thursday.

What is this sudden fixation on the bad things happening in Anambra by the press?

Is this another way of demarketing Obi?

How much more petty can these foolish old men go?

There's nothing we will not see or hear from these headless mobs called Obidients. So, crimes in Anambra shouldn't be reported again because of Obi?

East again. The victim knew he was safe in d south, hence he's one of the hundreds of thousands who relocated south, the killers knew if south was like east, he would have easily been killed long ago, hence waited for him to come to meeting in d east, and finish him off b4 crossing to asaba, delta, state. The reason these criminals want ipob to spread to delta and the south so that they can expand their field of criminal base

Swine , what's my business with Yoruba people ?

Did I tell you I am Yoruba and what concerns Yoruba with another of your usual foolishness in your cursed Goshen ?

I want your Biafra so that you swine can be herded into your containment zone in the yeast and from there watch you kill and eat each other.

Baboon
if they create d Biafra (of 5 eastern states oh. South no go ever allow and be part of that nonsense), most Igbo's will not live there. They will relocate to south of Nigeria. Most or all who chant Biafra chant cos of pride and to cover Shame. within them, they are crying, cos they know say Biafra will be far worse than Sudan and afghan eastern put together. See as them rush go both p.h, river state and asaba, delta state, both southern states since when ipob and its sister killer agencies take over east, since they were allowed by d same runaway people
