It was a guy I helped through my university days. Like I was always carrying this guy academically to the point one lecturer caught me one-day and advised me to be careful of the way I teach/assist my friends inside the exam hall. Immediately after our final paper, my house rent got expired and I don't want to renew it because I will soon leave school, so I told my guy I will like to stay with him for sometime pending when I'm done with my project. He agreed and I moved in, there was this other guy that approached me and asked me if he can join us, I related the question to the first guy, he agreed and the guy joined us.

One faithful day, we agreed to contribute money to buy foodstuffs*school life things na,* I told him I will bring mine when I enter the campus because that is where the banks and their ATM points are. Being the unelected leader of my project group I was not chanced to go to the ATM when I entered the campus because I was putting finishing touches to my project work which I am to submit that same day.
So, the guy approached me for the money while I was busy discussing with my project mates inside one lecture theater, I told him I haven't gone to the ATM point, maybe I should give him the card to help me out on that, he said no need that I should bring it when I get home.

I got home in the evening after a stressful day, normally I was hungry and didn't remember to give him the money immediately I got home but I have the money on me but hunger no let me reason am. The guy gave me my own serve(portion) of the lunch, as I was about to take the first mold of the garri, na so the other guy I introduced said "shey xyz i.e don drop him own money, before I could say anything, he responded with "na true," na so the other guy ask him to remove the food from my front, omoh I wan mad.
At that point, I was like guys wetin be all these na, shebi we had an agreement and I just dey enter and you all know whatsup in school.
Already, I have lost my appetite, I brought the cash I withdrew from the ATM point and showed it to them, and told him he know there is no way I won't give them my own money but hunger made me not to remember to do that when I entered the room.

I left the room angrily, took a bike to one eatery around the campus gate, bought enough food with tantalizing Mendes mendes (me wet don make money from my project, I got good figure from my dad and I also did the project for one of my project mates who is a big boy i.e businessman).
Got home, open the food and ate everything in their presence, made call to another of my guy, moved my things out of his place that evening.

He later came with one of our mutual friends to apologize, but I have keeled the friendship.

The guy chatted me up recently, although I have forgiven him, the friendship no be like again.

God opened doors for me beyond my expectation. Today he is full of regret but lacks courage to come meet me for help. I will never forget what that guy did to me, above all, I learnt a great life's lesson. People, be careful who you help.

I had a similar experience with a colleague too.Who @ the long run took my job and l was fustrated to resign.To cut the long story short. ..her action contributed to my success today.. Although it wasn't easy but by His grace l run my personal business now n l even felt bad l served someone's company that long.
