It calls for sober reflection because is telling us to repent from our sins because Jesus is coming very soon. When we are cut aware it will definitely bring doom on us, so that's why is said, it calls for sober reflection. Anywhere you are not doing well as an individual or even as a Christian check yourself and do the right thing.

Did Jesus Christ in fact tell you to repent from your sins? Or did He instead preach the same message of Repentance that was preached by John the Baptist? John the Baptist did not preach repentance from sins either. He couldn't have because Jesus Christ —the Way to the Redemption of Sins —was instead the one John the Baptist was instructed to preach to the people. undecided
