Isobug: I'm sure if the judges allows live coverage of the court proceedings then the lives of the witnesses and the judges will be in danger from wayward obidients. They will start protesting and keep vigils in the courthouse or in the judge's house every day. Funny headless mob. 2 Likes |

This presupposes that they are not likely to be transparent in their dealings. They are not going to allow live transmission of hearing. This is sad that the court is not on the side of the people. |

Afamed: But accredited media houses are allowed to cover the proceedings. It's all this abuse of privilege that's the issue. I don't know anywhere judges allow coverage of their proceedings. Judges need to protect themselves and the witnesses. Why didn't Atiku ask for 2003 tribunal proceedings to the transmitted? Has anyone seen Court proceedings televised in Nigeria like Nollywood movies? I never expected the judges to allow it. 1 Like |
