I dont think so, I've read like 4/5 testimonies in the last 2 weeks on this thread where they got their Visa 10 days after doing Biometrics. And they all did their Biometrics at Tls Ikeja. Especially those who had it done around Late April and Early May.

Yes that's true, but it shouldn't have taken this long. We have seen people that did after you gotten their approval already...have you called or sent them a message to ask how far?

because I wrote the two both academics and general UKVI because first I wanted to go through studies but I eventually ended up with the healthcare visa

See as you wasted your money for not knowing that both General & Academic IELTS for UKVI are acceptable for this SW visa. What matters is for it to be IELTS for UKVI.

Hello house,
I applied for Health and Care Worker Visa (Standard) and did Biometrics on the 12th.
I got an NSF mail on the 16th at about 2pm asking for scanned IELTS certificate which I immediately did and sent back.
The next day, (Wednessday 17th) I saw my application on the tracker which for the previous days had showed - Received by DMC, now getting transferred to VAC and Received by VAC and finally Passport picked up email from TLS - all happening within 3 hours....
Abeg, who knows wetin dey happen? I no come understand again o as this speed they are sending back my passport (7 days) is unusual.
I dey go to pick up my passport by Monday abeg make una pray for me bcs anxiety don finish me.

You can buy a sim from the airport or once you get into town. Alternatively, you can connect to the airport WiFi or the WiFi where you will be staying - most houses have WiFis.
There is also free WiF in some locations/trains/buses but I'm usually wary of some free WiFi due to security concerns.

Another option is to roam your line but the cost is dear vis-a-vis buying a PayG sim, calling app (Tesco/rebtel and the likes) or using WiFi for WhatsApp.

Also seems employers now have so many employees already in because mine gave me June for training till now ive nor heard anything I texted her she didn't reply. Thank God I have relative here staying at their place since ending April. Please my people I Leeds how far, abeg make we rub minds and hang out when I'm in Leeds. Anyone experienced this?? To survive here no easy o. tfare a d accommodation naim dey carry money gooooo.

Not that there seems to be many employees,employees plenty now in youkay. I think what they do now is assign shift base on their arrival. You can send message to her to start your DBS for you .Thats my view
