The gifted Nigerian actor who made this revelation suggested that the former Big Brother Naija housemate and AMVCA winner, Tobi Bakre, go buy Cee C's former female Big Brother housemate, Cee C, gifts in appreciation in a post on his official Instagram account.

Recall that Tobi Bakre tried to get into a relationship with Cee C, a female housemate from Big Brother Naija, but it didn't work out.

Recall that on May 21, 2023, the outstanding Nigerian actor Tobi Bakre won the AMVCA for best West African movie part.

Many are pained Tobi won ahead of Chidi Mokeme. But they don't know Brotherhood was more interesting than Shanty Town. Like Shanty Town, like Gangs if Lagos. Too much hype killed both movies.
I watched all and the originality of Brotherhood was too much. Though it has its flaws but as least I rate it 7/10 while giving Shanty Town 5/10 & Steers of Lagos 5.5/10 cos both movies delved into abstract at some point.

So most people talking about Tobi's award are stroking the debate of Yoruba actors vs Igbo born actors.
There's no need for debates. The master can be recognized when you have bulk of your actors acting Yoruba movies & English movies and perfecting the roles. Olu Jacobs (may God give him more good health) ll act Igwe easily but them no born Pete Edochie to act Oba or any Kabiyesi easily. Same goes to Yoruba born actors that has been using bread to lick their soup in English Nollywood. People like Ramsey Noah, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Jide Kosoko to mention a few Yorubas who have perfected English Nollywood acting Igbo roles perfectly. Actors from heir tribe speak better english and act better than those that yeye Maduagwu was rooting for.
Lastly, Nollywood started from Yoruba Land. You can't beat your master. Hubert Ogunde, the father of Kunle Afolayan, Adeyemi Afolayan, Baba Sala etc all shot Nigeria to international stardom before Asaba or Onitsha actors bought their first camera or do stage play! Yoruba Nollywood has been getting international accolades before Living In Bondage (first English home video was shot in 1992).
In order to avoid further yansh opening, I advise all pained people to celebrate Tobi Bakare jejely. Just as all Nigerians didn't consider Hilda Baci's tribe to celebrate her.
Let he/she that doesn't like good thing start liking it or lick sugar.
